Cannot praise this garage enough. They went out of their way trying to help to get my vehicle back on the road quickly, and one in which i could afford to do so.

Needed a clutch change urgently, and they fitted the job in the next day! Friendly and efficient service, and a reasonable price - recommended.
FOLLOW-UP - 3 months later, we had a breakdown in the car, and were towed back to John Cox's after hours, but the next day they had the problem fixed, and 24hrs after breaking down, we had the car back all mended. Great service again - many thanks!

Terrific garage. Very helpful, courteous, and trustworthy. I took my car in with suspension trouble a couple of months ago, and they had it fixed within the day at a very fair price. It's been running perfectly ever since. I also found, after driving home, that they'd replaced my locking wheel nut remover (which I couldn't find when I'd dropped the car off) and put it safely in a bag in my glove box— a really thoughtful extra touch. Thank you very much.

Rang here on a recommendation from my work mates. They gave me really incredible service, excellent communication and clearly laid out what needed doing and how much it would cost. Everything was sorted out for me very quickly and I cannot recommend them enough.

I have been taking my car here for years now. They are a genuine, trust worthy, professional team. Always get parts needed and the work completed very quickly having never needing to go back to get anything redone.

Not used them. But have had two conversations at different times on the phone with Joe. Very helpful listened to me reference to a clutch problem.

He was extremely polite and gave his time to explain his opinion on what the problem could be.

He was correct.. I already had the repair booked elsewhere.. however in future I would consider using their business.

We stopped by on a whim to get someone to check the coolant as we were off for a big driving trip to Scotland. The young guy there didn’t hesitate to help and didn’t even charge us for checking/refilling the coolant. It was very much appreciated and we won’t hesitate to go back there for further services in the future. Thank you kindly!

Excellent garage, excellent mechanics, I’ve used them on numerous occasions and they are always very honest. Today I visited them with a problem to do with my clutch which I thought had gone (all resistance in the clutch had gone and I couldn’t change gears), one of the mechanics took a look at it and within minutes had fixed me back up - and he didn’t charge me a thing. Bearing in mind there are lots of garages who will over charge you for things like this, especially as I know very little about cars, I was very impressed. Can’t praise them enough

Called about an issue with my car, the next day it was fixed and ready to collect. Everyone was very helpful and the price was fair. Would definitely recommend

I had called 5 garages to ask if they would be able to remove my broken Locking Wheel Nut, all of whom said no. Called these guys up, they told me to take the car to them in an hour's time. They had the 'problematic' nut off in a matter of seconds, and the chap also offered to replace the Locking Wheel Nuts on the rest of the wheels with the news ones I had bought to prevent the same issue happening again. Brilliant service

Took my car 😕 to John Cox followed closely by AA man!😊 Spoke to one of the gentlemen there, said "leave it here, I'll look at it and see what's to do." They obviously had other customers cars lined up before mine but still took it on. Picked it up late afternoon. Job done. The young man was so courteous and kind and explained what had happened. Don't get that anywhere else. A lot of garages assume if you're a woman there's nothing in between your ears!😈 Thanks a bunch lads, fantastic service as always. Enjoy your weekend. 😎

The crew from Amersham Auction Rooms have been using John Cox for almost 15 years now and we wouldn't go anywhere else. They are so professional, and you will always get good advise.......even if you don't like the news. Example ....my car needed a new alternator and it was running a little rough, I took their advice and I've been driving it trouble free for two years now. They are the most honest garage you will come across

Have used this garage on two occasions now and have found them to be highly professional and courteous, They are thorough and get the job done right first time .My only regret is that i hadn't found them sooner

Never had work done by this company but I just come across one of the employees/owners in Amersham car park when he gave me his parking ticket, so if he takes the time to stop me in my car explain that he’s got a ticket for an hour and half I can have, imagine the time he’d take on something as expensive as a car. Maybe a stupid review but it makes sense to me
