The Courtyard Cafe

This little independent place has the best breakfast item I've had in quite a while.
We popped in just as it opened.
The Havana Toast is robust and flavorful. Pulled pork might not seem like a breakfast ingredient but it was wonderfully combined with chipotle mayo and some mango bites. Absolutely delicious!
Husband thought the Full English was nice, bread for the toast was tasty.
The atmosphere was very pleasant, I enjoyed the fact that it reminded me of Zelda Twilight Princess going into its front entry.
It is quite a small dining area- first come first serve. I imagine it is insanely busy and popular in high season!
Staff were polite and the music taste a joy as well.

We wondering a while looking for a breakfast spot, and definitely happy we found the Courtyard Cafe.

A bit of a different menu with some experimental flavours, but extremely tasty and very decent portions. Staff were lovely and attentive and the coffee was also great!

Beautifully friendly wait staff, and a wonderful place to gather with friends/family.

We enjoyed a delicious cream tea! (£8). Seemed reasonably priced with the location! The scones were moist and buttery and the clotted cream and jam complimented perfectly with them! The pot of tea for one was plenty and stayed nice and warm the duration of our brunch!

It has a wonderful vibe and a cozy ambiance. I recommend the goat cheese ciabatta!

Quick, affordable, and delicious. The best combination for a breakfast. The restaurant has a nice cozy atmosphere, as well as lively outdoor seating area. A nice hidden gem in Bath.

Absolutely the best bubble&sqeak I've ever eaten, highly recommended!
The service was a little slow but ots a small place with a small team. Once we did order food arrived quickly.

Popped in Tuesday lunchtime got a seat instantly.

We had two meals and a drink that came to a respectable £26. Lovely food good quality and great staff.

We stumbled upon this place when visiting Bath on holiday.
Had some genuinely good conversations with the staff and had to come back the next day. Our dogs loved the place. DOG FRIENDLY!! 🐶

Very cosy atmosphere, tasty food and friendly stuff. And all right in Bath city centre! What else to wish for. 😉

Best restaurant in Bath, so far. The quality is 6 out of 5 stars. The quantity is enormous and the service is very fast, prompt and polite. You do feel like you landed in a small coquette Parisian restaurant. And be prepared for your taste buds to go over the top with delight. 5 out of 5 is hardly doing them justice for the excellent service.

We only popped by to grab a couple cakes & my goodness the biscoff caramel short reads were amazeballs!
The service fantastic too, attentive & swift, plus the cute takeaway box with wooden spoon.. They even added a few strawberrys in there which I've got to say went soo well with the cake!

The lady who invited us in, really wasn't very friendly at all but the friendliness of the younger lady made up for that thankfully!

We love to support local businesses and this place did not disappoint. Quaint little cafe tucked away in a courtyard. Funky decor I side. Great breakfast, coffee and cake. I had the vegetarian breakfast and it was delicious. The service was friendly.

Love this place; I do occasionally find that the music can be a little loud if sat inside but the quality of the food and respect from the staff almost makes you forget that!

One of my fave places to lunch in Bath.

Lovely quiet courtyard spot with a good number of outdoor tables, some of which are under outdoor heaters, too. Flat whites were great and both of the lunch options we had were delicious.

Breakfast is amazing here! The English breakfast was really good. We really loved the pancake as well🤤

I had an excellent experience being very well attended and tasting a very delicious meal.
