Lilac Villa

Perfect location for Weymouth. Short drive or bus (which stops outside). It can also be walked in 1/2 hour ( depending on fitness level). Bus to Dorchester also stops outside (35 mins).We left the car in residents car park for most of our stay.
Mary and Stephen were excellent. So helpful and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Great local knowledge with tips which were very helpful.
I have never stayed anywhere that was more solicitous of their guests comfort and needs.
We will definitely return.

We had a lovely stay with Stephen and Mary who made us feel welcome upon arrival. Our room was nice and quiet with fresh milk as you need it. The location is great the beach is only a 15 minute walk but there's a bus stop just outside if you need. This is the second time we've stayed here and we look forward to coming again in the future.

(even made our lunch to go out on our fishing trip) Room was spotless and cozy, was really nice having the doors leading to the garden area especially in this hot weather. A perfect little get away, really enjoyed our stay and will be returning. Thankyou

BIG thanks to Mary and Steven for making our stay such a pleasure. Our room opened out through patio doors into the garden where there was lots of seating for enjoying a tea in the sunshine. Great breakfast, with veggie options and lots of tea or coffee. Becca was great waiting on the tables and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely rooms, immaculately clean and very well appointed. Thoroughly recommended.

Super stay with Mary and Steven. Beautiful ground floor room with patio doors leading to the garden. Very tasty freshly cooked breakfast with the best poached eggs I have had in a long time. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and Mary went above and beyond offering to wash my husbands shirt after an incident with a low flying seagull. Both Mary and Steven and the young lady on breakfast service are so hardworking and it shows throughout their beautiful home. Thanks again to you both. Judith and Eddie

I had an excellent stay, the guesthouse is located a bit further from the town centre which means it's quieter and there's a bus stop right outside that takes you to the town centre within 5min. There's also buses to go to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove right outside which was great.
Mary and Steven were very helpful hosts and breakfast was delicious.

A lovely quiet quaint guest house, with hosts that were very attentive to our needs. Would definitely go back.
