Just had a week staying here with family. We stayed in a static holiday home and my parents stayed in their touring caravan. This is one of the great things about this site, it allows all accommodation. Our holiday home was number 27. It was a lovely static, clean and welcoming. We had a great time. The site was lovely and well kept. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely quiet little site with play area for kids and great location to visit nearby sites, but a car is a must as they are all a short drive away. Small bar on site that does excellent food at good prices. The staff on site are absolutely fabulous and can`t do enough for you.

Lovely campsite, clean toilets and shower facilities, dog friendly and really quiet. My only bugbare isn't the campsites fault and that's the times for buses on the weekend are dire and the roads don't have good foot access for those wanting to walk.

Absolutely amazing place, staff are outstanding, area and site gorgeous and all facilities are great.
It has a great holiday vibe and all the staff are happy helpful and kind.

We stayed in a lodge which was clean comfortable and fully equipped, The hot tub was perfect and the decking area had amazing views.

We had a great holiday here. It was quiet and restful after our day out to various places. 10 min drive to Cheddar Gorge in one direction and Wells in the other. The caravan was clean and tidy and good value.

We had a lovely family holiday over Easter at Bucklegrove in our tourer caravan. Great location and campsite amenities. But what really made the holiday was the friendly team running things. Entertainment and games for children were provided and the food served was good pub grub at reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return.

Stayed here for 4 nights during the kids May half term, with my partner and 2 children (10 & 11 yrs). We took our touring caravan and our pitch was in a good location- good size pitch with hard standing gravel, with enough space for caravan and awning, with a grass piece to the side, the pitch was also surrounded by a hedge which made it feel private. The site itself was a little cramped in particular the tent section. The pool was really nicely done, great size and my kids loved it! The pool was fairly quiet considering it was May half term. Might I add a recommendation... that the pool would benefit from a clock?, so people know the time when they are in there. Also, in the future the changing space would also benefit from a refurb- with possibly private changing cubicles? As it's not always ideal to walk back to your pitch, esp in colder months/not everyone feels comfortable changing infront of other strangers.
The site is in need of toilet/shower refurbishment, which I believe they plan on doing.
Really decent site, in a great location.
We visited a few local places during our stay; Wookey Hole (10% off if you stay on this site), Cheddar Gorge, Black Rock Nature Reserve, Glastonbury Town & Abbey, Wells Town & Catherdral.
I would consider staying again in the future, when the refurb work has been completed.

Friendly, little caravan park, staff were very welcoming and the caravans were spotless and thoughtfully equipped! The hot tub was a fun bit of luxury. Great location for Cheddar, Wookey hole, Bath and Bristol.

Another incredible stay at Bucklegrove! Nothing is ever too much trouble and the staff go above and beyond every time! Easter is particularly brilliant for the children, the site puts on an Easter word hunt, the Easter bunny visited with a choice of chocolate egg or toy and there was arts and crafts EVERY DAY! The evening entertainment was top notch with live singers, bingo and kids entertainment! I cannot rate this site high enough and never want to leave when pack up day arrives. Looking forward to our next holiday with you guys, see you in October!

Love camping here with the kids, great location between Cheddar and Wookey. Good on site facilities (although they are a little dated now) the pool is perfect for younger kids and the clubhouse has good food with evening entertainment for the kids too. Staff are amazing, always happy to help. Will definitely be coming back again 👍🏼

We took our caravan on fully serviced pitch. Great site, in lovely location. Friendly staff and good size pitch. Nice indoor Swimming pool , not huge but good size. Bar, restaurant and outside seating with children's play park close by so great for having a drink while watching the children. Basic menu ok but loads of eating places in Wells. Would come back again.

It's what I'd say a basic caravan site, but it has what you need for the little ones.
Or quiet adult time away.
Swimming pool is small and clean, changing rooms small but do the job.
All toilets/showers and washrooms where clean.
Staff were polite and friendly all from the start from receptionist to bar satff.
The play park could do with having a little more for the size of the site, and the woodland walk great for the little ones 🤣 (cut through to the swimmingpool for us)
The restaurant was a nice chilled out place and dog friendly.
The food was excellent..
Buckleburger 😋
Steak 😋
Kids pizza and chip 😋.
Nice little pool table too...

We will be coming back soon in our touring caravan
