Great experience. George was very professional and capable. We were moved within just a couple of hours. They had everything needed to strap down and secure our stuff. We actually booked a truck that was much too large but they made it work for us!
We were moving out of a flat on the fifth floor with just a narrow staircase but it all went very smoothly. We moved on 8th August 2015.

We got really good service from George and his team. They were highly efficient, and even went out of their way to help us dismantle some of our furniture. Our move is temporary, and will be using George again for our move back to our flat. We would definitely recommend!

George was absolutely amazing while helping us with the move. Punctual, hard working and very fair with pricing (we had some overtime due to high traffic/events in central London). Provided his own sheets & straps to protect and lock our furniture in place. I would recommend using his services to anyone!

We had a great moving experience with Big 5 Removals. It was 10 hours of hard graft but not a single complaint - more importantly just downright helpful. Hard-working, conscientious and careful. Not a single broken item - George was no doubt a Tetris-pro... never thought he would get as much as he did into one load, amazing! Highly recommend.

15th August 2016 - London to Bedford move: Excellent service. Our flat was 5 flights of stairs without a lift and we had problems with getting access to our new property once we arrived but George and the team were great - got on with the job and were very professional. Great communication before our move and on the day. Couldn't ask for anything more from them. They made a stressful day a lot more bearable!

Let me start by saying by the time I found George from Big 5, I was fraught! Due to move from London to York, we had just been abandoned by TWO successive big national removal companies ON THE MORNING OF THE MOVE. The van booked and paid for, simply did not arrive. And the second company, who we secured at the last minute to rescue us, also failed to materialise. Bank holiday weekend administrative error, apparently. The new people who were replacing us were ready to move in, we were stranded with all our treasures boxed up, some of which were already pavement side. Waiting for the phantom van! It wasn't a moving day scenario anyone desires or anticipates. There were quite a few tears and a little hysteria too. Enter, George. So calm. So professional. So hero! He secured us a local van driver, and knowing just how cash strapped we were (thanks Corona), he negotiated and hustled the best deal he could. It didn't feel like a business transaction. I felt like my dad had stepped in and was taking care of business. He stayed in touch with us throughout the whole process, and after the callous treatment from the big national companies, every dealing every conversation with George, was a tonic. He is empathy personified. I have since used George's services again, and will continue to do so. Thank you for coming through George, you are a good man and we appreciate you. Kate.

I was moved by Big5 Removals twice: in December, 2016 to the storage unit in Morden, and from the storage to my present location (in Feb. 2017). I was assisted by George. The service was superb. It was fast, easy-going, and stress free (above all!). George arrived on time, was professional, attentive and organised while packing my belongings in the van, and then organizing them in the storage unit in a tight way. Moving is always laden with stress; I was relieved to have had some of the burden taken off my shoulders. Thanks! I highly recommend Big5 and will use them again

April 2016. I was extremely pleased with the move as I'm on my own and George and his team had to dismantle a lot of the furniture and carry quite a few very heavy items to the converted loft in an old Victorian house. They also put all the furniture back together again.

Excellent job moving an exceptionally heavy kitchen. Including a range oven and granite work surface. Found online so was slight apprehensive, but George and George were excellent. Thanks so much, would definitely use again.

George and colleague were on time, friendly and professional throughout. They took care of the furniture during moving and helped move what I would call a very bulky and heavy king size memory foam mattress up 2 convoluted stairs at our new place. Great service and well worth using this company. Move date 8 April 2016.

Full flat move from Kennington to Streatham was carried out very professionally. George and his colleague were punctual, polite and very helpful. All items handled with care and their friendly approach made a potentially stressful move a good experience. Highly recommended.

Big 5 Removal were great. I had the two Georges. Younger George was able to fix by wardrobe (IKEA) that fell apart as soon as we tried to move it). And older George was a genius at packing items into the Lorry. Every bit of space was required. The guys were diligent, hardworking and careful and I would recommend them
