Bill's St Albans Restaurant

Eclectic building and decor - loved the aesthetic! Employees were friendly and our server was very good! Food was delicious and bountiful. We had eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs on sourdough toast, pancakes, Mediterranean breakfast platter. Would recommend them all! Farm fresh eggs too. We stopped there directly from LHR before we were able to stop at lodging and they were super kind about us having a few small bags with us. Would recommend & hope to return someday!

This was my first time eating at Bill's. The food was exactly what I expected. It was pub-ish fare but it was fresh and hot.
The servers were extremely friendly and attentive! I'd go back just for that. Great night with friends made better with great service and food.

Absolutely fantastic! We were re-seated to accommodate a friend in a leg cast, with no fuss. Shown the accessible toilet too. Food was fantastic, dessert was out of this world and I cant wait to come back to eat more. All of the people that served our drinks and food were friendly and attentive. The venue is gorgeous too, lots of character and I'd like to sit at every table!! Highly recommended.

The music was just a little too loud or I was too close to the speaker maybe. The cinnamon roll and chocolate muffin were very good. Easy order from the phone, served at the table. Dairy free options for drinks (soya, coconut, oat)

Came for dinner to check out the new refurb Bill's has recently undergone. Absolutely stunning! I didn't want to leave. We couldn't fault it, service, food, atmosphere all amazing. Even my baby couldn't get enough fistfuls of their delicious roast squash hummus! I'll be back again soon.

Golden latte & Bill’s flower pot (passionfruit cheesecake) were delish! Highly recommend :)

First visit and very impressive. Great care taken against Covid-19. Food was prepared very well and attractively served up. Good free WiFi in the rear of the building. Odd they don't big up the ingredients a bit more, my sirloin was very tender so properly aged and well sourced and the strawberries in my Eton Mess were way better than standard supermarket ones. My 3 fellow diners were copious in their praise, what more can you want?

Was on a day trip to St Albans, had not been to a Bills for over 12 months. Really happy with the food selection on offer, staff were friendly, food was tasty, hot and fresh.

Also do blue light discount which is a bonus for those eligible.

Cosy restaurant and tasty food for adults and a separate kids menu as well. Bill's flowerpot dessert is amazing.

Bill’s brunch never disappoints! I came in last week with my family and the food was delicious. Service was quick, our server Kathryn really went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely meal. Would recommend the bloody Mary’s in particular, they were fab.

Popped in here for a hearty lunch on my own.

The service was exceptional, I have never known anything like it before

The food was in the most part amazing (although I wish there was an upgrade of steak available for the steak and eggs)

Was able to upgrade the fries to sweet potato fries.

I ended up going the whole hog and having coffee and desert too as I had time.

I don't believe in the 12.5% service charge (as some companies do not pass it on and surely you can not eat at a restaurant without being served) but it was optional and they removed this £3 odd fee. I did think it was amazing though, so left a £5 in cash tip 😉

We loved it! Had Brunch, I had the garden plate. I don't think I've ever had poached eggs so perfect to be honest.
Coffee was on the cold side (lukewarm), personally don't mind as it makes it drinkable but I guess that others may need that note.
We're definitely going back to try lunch and dinner menus!
The comfy Granny's house sort of aesthetic is a great touch.

I’ve heard a lot about their brunch from my friends and I was not let down! It was extremely cozy, where me and my family were seated and were greeted by this lovely young waitress, Rihanna, who gave us a warm smile and extremely attentive, checking up on us. Would definitely come again, when I pass by!

I was greeting by a lovely lady called Jamie she really looked after me and the food was amazing. All the staff were so attentive and so friendly. Definitely going back there with the kids :-)

A fanatic little place, while not only being a restaurant, it is also a shop.

The food was fanatic, the service was above and beyond what I was expecting. They had some amazing drinks as well as an impressive range of foods for different dietary requirements.

The staff where extremely accommodating as well as friendly.

I will be definitely returning to this restaurant whenever I'm in the area.

Had a lovely meal at Bills! My waitress - Kathryn Mee was brilliant! She made sure I got everything I needed and was very polite and friendly. I would recommend eating here!

Would absolutely recommend and return! Jayne and Will were great hosts, and the food was divine. Portion sizes were reasonable against cost.

Staff are very polite and friendly and I wasn't left waiting to order for a long time like in some restaurants. The chicken burger was 10/10 highly recommend!

Came to St Albs to meet up with a *close* friend and we thought we’d pop into Bills for a quick bite to eat and a drink. Well, Mia served us and she was absolutely top notch. 10/10 service would definitely bring other *friends* here 🫣
