The Anglesey Sea Zoo is one of the pride for Anglesey island in Wales, United Kingdom. It has varieties of sea creatures.

It is a great place for any age.
Blue light card holders can benefit from a 20 percent discount.

Disabled friend bathroom and access is another plus point.

Outside, there is a playground which is an additional beauty.

Parking is free for customers.
Reasonable price and great location.

I recommend visiting this place if you are nearby to the Island of Angkesey.

Very lovely place to visit. It possibly needs a bit more local support to fund some better signage inside, and some general maintenance to the play area.

A pleasant surprise was the EV chargers and discount for entry if you have an EV.

We'll be back.

Amazing experience. 7 year old kid loved it!! Food was great, staff were friendly and lovely animals. The boats outside did not work, but other than that it was great.

Lovely little aquarium. Lots to see around the tanks and very well laid out. Shark tank was the highlight, although we couldn't really hear the gent giving the talk.

Plenty of onsite parking, although in better weather there's probably a lovely walk along the sea front.

Nice little cafe too for lunch. Staff clearly care for the fish, we went round twice but the tickets would let us in again this week if we wanted to.

First ever visit to Anglesey sea aquarium. Personally, I thought it was brilliant, everything inside is native to UK waters so if your expecting clown fish and lots of colourful species then you won't find it here. Really well set out, and some species I never knew could be found in UK. The conservation area is a brilliant touch so you can see lobsters breeding, shark eggs etc. Conservation is very close to my heart and I was delighted to see this. £22 for an adult and a child is very good value and you can return for a further 6 days for free. Took around an hour to get around. Only downside is the giftshop, they clearly have cash flow and staff problems.

What a great aquarium. I was not expecting much and chose to go on a whim as the weather was awful for any outdoor activities.
Great selection of fish.
Love the sharks and jellyfish in particular.
Our ticket was valid all week as well which was a bonus (although we didn’t use it).
We got there early and walked straight in, but by the time we left, the queues were very long.

Such a lovely day out. The staff there were so lovely. We were very lucky to get to see some of the fish being fed whilst we were there. It's definitely worth a visit. Also your ticket is valid for a week so you can return if you are staying near by 😊

Amazing wee place. Wasn't expecting much but spent a few hours wandering around. Kids engaged and enjoyed looking at all the different fish. Staff were excellent- if they overheard a question then they would jump in to answer or give additional information. Nice shop too

After visiting Blue Planet a few weeks ago and being highly disappointed, we decided to give Anglesey Sea Zoo a try, and we were beyond impressed! So much better, the staff are so lovely and informative, and the animals all look really happy, healthy and well cared for! It took us a good 2 hours to walk around the whole place, even with a the new refurbishment taking place, so one less thing to see temporarily!
Plenty of activities for people with kids, and plenty for the big kids to enjoy too! We'll definitely be going back again as soon as the refurbishments are done, we loved it! Can't wait to visit again!

I have to say that I wasn't expecting much and we stopped in because our original plans got cancelled.
However, this is a little gem and is a perfect example of a very small business trying its best to create extra footfall. The zoo on its own is what I expected a small sea zoo to be. The zoo had added a small playground with a mini golf setup. They also put up a large inflatable slide for the children to use for free. It was a great spot for a picnic and a good way to keep my children of 2 and 5 years entertained for a few hours.

Lovely place to spend a couple of hours on a wet morning in Angelsey. It was very busy by the time we left as the weather wasn't great so I would recommend getting there early if it's your wet weather plan for the day. There is lots to learn about and plenty to see. On a nicer day there is also a small outdoor area and crazy golf which we didn't get to do because of the weather

Lovely trip out while holidaying near by. Remeber coming as a child and now have been back with my own children. A full fun day out, reasonably priced cafe, crazy golf, play area, free bouncy castle. Picnic areas. And your ticket is valid for 6 days after your visit for you to return as many times as you want without paying again. Bargain.

We were on a trip with extended family and there wasnt much around where we were staying that was entertaining for our 2yo, so we found this place on google.. it was a 40 minute drive away from where we were, but was definitely worth it. Our 2yo loved it, she was so intrigued and worth the hour we were there. The gift shop at the end had plenty to suit all. Got a couple of bits. We were going to eat at the cafe but there were no tables available and the weather wasnt nice enough to eat outside.
We thought the prices were fair. As it was 2 adults, 2 children and one under 3, we were able to purchase a family ticket that was £40, however we were told that we could come back anytime that week and use the ticket again. (We didnt have the chance to do that, but it was good to know and we left it at the house we rented for the week, so the next people could potentially get use out if it).
As an overall, I thought it was an enjoyable visit and would recommend for those with children that want something to do for an hour.

We love it here, yes it is smaller than blue planet etc but the staff are so friendly and they work hard with their conservation. Yes, it takes you 20 mins to walk around but walk around 2-3 times, you'll see more!
There is more to do with kids when you get out crazy golf, park etc.
If you have an EV you can charge it for free.

Wonderful little sea zoo. Lots of extras to pay for though so bring your pounds coins! Crazy golf is extra, though lots of stones on the course. There were some fantastic fish and my favourite the sting rays

Brilliant place! Even whilst incredibly busy during a wet summer holiday day, staff were incredibly friendly and apologetic for how busy it was, even if most people expect waits during summer holidays, there is a little crazy golf course outside £2 child £3 for adults. The bouncy castle was free but wasn't working with the windy wet weather. Well worth a visit!

In a nice location by the sea! Very interesting place, indoors mainly, kids did the Easter hunt for a chocolate fish prize 😁with lots of info, sealife to look at and nice staff, BLUE PETER BADGE HOLDERS GO IN FOR FREE
also liked the remote control boats for 50p, lots of family fun. We wanted to do the crazy golf but it was raining too much. Nice big cafe the food and drinks were spot on, lovely garlic bread! The gift shop had a very large range of goods.

Great to look around me and the kids enjoyed it 😀 was a bit cold inside as the doors where open. There's quite a bit to look at. We especially enjoyed the under water camera one was controlling it as someone was waving, was good fun 😀 the staff are friendly. We also had food in the cafe which was very nice.
