Crowne Plaza London Heathrow T4, an IHG Hotel

This hotel is quite new and looks it. Lots of rooms, and all a decent size bed. Clean and soundproof so no noise at night.
Drop off is available outside but you probably will need to pay a fiver for the privilege.
You can walk to terminal 4 via a covered walkway but for terminal 5 you need to take a bus which takes approx 20 mins.
Staff all seemed very friendly and helpful

Right on airport property. Rooms are very nice and clean. Restaurant and separate bar on site. Nice fitness center. Amazing Fish n Chips!

Booked due to early flight from heathrow. We got off the train at Liverpool Street Station and jumped on the Elizabeth line which took us straight to T4 Heathrow. Once there we took the lift to departures and followed the signs in a covered walk way straight to Crown Plaza, less than 2 mins we were checking in, cant believe how easy and smooth it was.
Check in was quick and took the lift to our room. We were on the 5th floor overlooking the bar area.
We went down to the bar for a drink and checked out the bar and restaurant menu.
We decided to eat in the restaurant. The staff were very polite and took us to a table, the soup starter came out quick and it was hot. Then our mains arrived, large portions and hot. The price was reasonable for an airport hotel and we were surprised by the portion size.
We finished and went back to the bar. The rooms are large and standard with the usual amenities.
In the morning we went to breakfast which was buffet style with eggs and porridge to order. There was a large selection of hot full English items, cold meats and cheses, salad bar, cerals, yogurts and pastries. You would be hard to find something not to eat!
Check out was quick and the 2 min walk to departures was a dream. Will definitely book again when we fly from Heathrow

Very well appointed room, ours was a corner room so probably bigger than most. Everything worked well and it was incredibly quiet given the size and proximity to the road. We ate in the restaurant and had breakfast there. Both meals were excellent.

Location is very good to find after arrival as well as to visit the city by using a picadilly line underground.
Also, service people are very kind and room facilities are very good. Breakfast is also good.

Perfect location for departures from LHR T4.

All the staff was lovely and prompt!

Food at the Brasserie was also good and well served, with promptly and kind staff!

Connected hotels. Staff amazing. Rooms clean and inviting. Thought they had a hotel shuttle, but it was the hoppa, which is a paid shuttle run by someone else. Miss it get a taxi very slow service to the terminals.
Would stay.there again!

Friendly and welcoming reception, clean and tidy rooms, comfy bed. Small gym was well equipped with rowing machine and weights. Decent breakfast spread.

Great location to access Heathrow terminal 4. Stayed here a few nights and have to say everything was great. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Very helpful, friendly, and professional. The room was very clean not only on arrival but after our daily housekeeping visit. The food at the various outlets was lovely. I would not recommend parking your car here as it's very, very expensive. Park elsewhere and get the Elizabeth line or Piccadilly tube to the terminal. From the departure level, it's just a short walk to the hotel. As Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express share the same building, you can choose to eat at the HIE restaurant for a cheaper option. In the room, you are treated to a huge tv, tea & coffee, iron and ironing board, air con, lovely comfortable bed, nice shower, a small fridge, safe, etc. Check out at midday, so there is no rush in the morning. Treat yourself to breakfast before heading out for the day or boarding your flight. Your stomach will thank you.

Apart from a dirty towel in hotel room, experience was good. Restaurant food was excellent. Really enjoyed the tower burger.

Stayed at The Crowne Plaza overnight before jetting off to NYC. On arrival, I was told I was the chosen guest to receive an upgrade, drink vouchers, and free breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel. My room was fantastic. The bathroom was very clean. The room had a locker, microwave and fridge as well as a kettle for tea/coffee. The dinner buffet had some great choices: lentil daal, rice, salad, chicken and a few vegetables along with salad. Breakfast was also a delicious spread. Very satisfied with my stay.

A decent stay before flying, check in experience was fine, we made use of the business centre lounge which was a nice touch and the gym was good too.

Overall a good experience!

Dip My Toe Travel

Love this hotel. It has everything you could need for overnight stay. Short walk to T4 via covered walkway. Room has tv, kettle, safe, bath robes, slippers, iron & board, water, tea & coffee, comfy bed & quiet room. Hotel restaurant, Urban serves delicious meals & buffet breakfast with eggs & toast to order. The lounge area is also very nice with large selection of drinks available.

Hear me out. I was flying into Heathrow Terminal 4. After having collected my luggage, I vaguely remember noclipping through a secret tunnel and somehow finding myself in level 188 of the Backrooms. I have no idea what events transpired to get me stuck in a room full of windows.

In all seriousness, I enjoyed my two stays here in the suites in summer 2022. Loved the breakfast, the service at the front desk, and the ability to watch people getting dropped off at Terminal 4. This is also one of very few Heathrow hotels allowing free access between the hotel and airport terminals, making it easy and completely free for me to plane-spot during my time here - many other hotels either charge for a shuttle or, in the case of the Thistle hotel, crossing a simple gate (between the hotel and the otherwise free Pods).

Only thing going against this hotel is the lack of self-service laundry.

Wow. Amazing rooms in comparison to most hotels in and around Heathrow. Love the designing of everything in the room from the carpet to the curtains. Makes you feel cozy 🙂. Wonderful location at terminal 4 where the train is just crossing the air bridge to the terminal and away you go into the city

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is worth signing up for and is better than most business hotels I’ve experienced in the UK or US.

Met a friend at the bar, and we were both appreciative of the professionalism and good humour of the staff. Really a good stay.

I stay in 200+ IHG hotels a year and this is by far the best Crowne plaza I have stayed in. The staff were more than willing to help out and a nice personal touch remembering room numbers and orders a nice attention to detail. Bar staff was amazing and the restaurant staff really friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was amazing I would go as far as saying the best hotel food I have ever had that includes the breakfast I had a crispy hash brown, seasoned button mushrooms, perfect beans and bacon. Most hotel food is trash but here was a surprise really nice. The hotel it’s self is clean, fancy and my room was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

UPDATE: The concierge was amazing in helping us with the luggage in the morning, hence I'm changing my review and giving 3 stars only because of the concierge.

Second UPDATE: In the subsequent visit, all the issues were properly addressed and I'm happy to give 5 stars! Well done on taking on the comments and acting swiftly to improve.

We have stayed here before and I did give it 5 stars. However, the experience this time was sub par. This time we stayed for 2 nights and the room water supply had issues and was resolved by getting us another room after 1 night already passed and complaining three times including one time to the IHG Ambassador line. After getting us another room, I was told to go down and collect the key for the new room (rather than getting the key over) which doesn't make sense especially when we have a toddler who slept at the time all of this was happening. Being a very loyal IHG customer, this is just very disappointing and also to go from a previous good memory to a complete U Turn in service.
