SIXT Car Hire - Heathrow Airport T5

Luis at Heathrow terminal 3 was AMAZING I have worked in automotive for international compies for years , his customer service , attitude and respect for a client would make me want to hire him on the spot. Thank you Luis because of you I will be using sixt for my next trip! Keep up the good work and Sixt if you are looking for management this is your guy.

Rupesh was great. My booking agent booked my rental at the incorrect terminal. Rupesh transfered the reservation to terminal 5. He then upgraded our reservation to a full van. Once I got into the van, I realized I would never find parking downtown. I then went back and notified him, he then switched the reservation to a GLE for the same rate. The GLE drove fine but did have some interior buttons broken (expected when people don't treat the vehicle as if it was their own). Return was easy, didn't try to blame me for preexisting damage. Location is convenient to terminal 5. You can keep your luggage cart from the carousel all the way up to the car door. Sixt and europcar are my go to's when traveling abroad.

Great service & family experience. Raj was professional explaining concretely on the car conditions with What To Dos before leaving the parking bay & prior to car return. Will definitely use SIXT again for our family road trip in UK next time. 👍🏻

I use this branch almost on a monthly basis. Rupesh is always extremely helpful and the service is quick and easy. The quality of the cars is always good. Paid a little bit extra for an upgrade (which I usually avoid) but definitely didn't regret it. Great service and I expect to return soon! Photos are from our trip using the Sixt Audi A4. If you have the option to upgrade to an Audi or Mercedes, I 100% recommend it.

We booked a compact SUV via general telephone executive and that as welll was very professional and informative communication. Pick
Up and drop off was to be taken from
Sofitel branch at Heathrow Terminal 5. After receipt of the vehicle we realized it was way too small than anticipated. We went back to the desk and showed our concern that it was our misunderstanding to choose the car. Not only did the two staff members helped to change/ upgrade car but not even for a single momemt showed a sign of frustration or disappointment. They rather went out of the way to discuss all options again, patiently changed new car and yet smiling with the most welcoming attitude.

We rented from SIXT at LHR in September 2022. They take you by shuttle to the location which is in the Softel Hotel nearby, about 10 or 15 minutes. The staff are friendly and provided quick service. A little bit of upsell but no pressure. Car was a BMW 320d, maybe 1 year old. In great condition. Made the booking in Canada and got a good price, about $930 CDN total for 7 days. I am happy with the rental and will rent again from them.

This was a very easy quick walk from T5 departures to the Sofitel Hotel and the SIXT desk - no need to go outside or catch shuttle bus.
On arrival (arrived early) short wait and was seen to by Iona. I had booked a std SUV (VW-T Cross). There were none available, Iona offered to upgrade me to new BMW 3 series at an additional cost of more than my rental (just doing her job) which I politely declined stating that I was happy with the car I rented and automatic or manual would be fine. Was going to be issued with a Kia Ceed which was standard car, I said I was happy, but then Iona said she would upgrade me to the BMW free of charge.
Was taken down to the garage in the lift, explained on return to ignore car rental return signs and just head for Sofitel Car Park. car was lovely.
Return process was very easy, I filled the car with fuel in Slough, then headed into Sofitel car park on level 1, car was checked by Angel, very promptly, showed me no excess charges on his phone and then short walk to elevator, up to Sofitel then short walk and other elevator to T5 departures.
I am not a frequent visitor to London, but my 3rd rental with SIXT at Heathrow and every experience has been very good - would not hesitate to use again.
I always also take out independent excess insurance, would buy from rental co but independent is about 30% of rental cpy cost for excess insurance.
The only thing I would add is the pick up garage is quite dark and not easy to get good photos of car to compare with on return - I always take photos at pick up and return in case any damage is claimed. I have assumed once check is complete and checkers phone has no damage ticked - the check is then completed. I have read some of the poor reviews here and definitely I only had +ve experience here.

I had a great experience with my SIXT car hire experience , the process was very straight forward and I must highlight the customer service experience is a million times better than other Car Hire companies I have used ( Thanks to ISTVAN at Heathrow T5) . Extremely friendly and made the experience light hearted and fun , he also managed to find me a really suitable SUV for my journey Glasgow .
I have actually never heard of SIXT before and use to stick to the other big name car rental companies but because of the overwhelmingly positive experience provided by ISTVAN , I will be using Sixt for ALL my car hire needs in the future , its amazing what great customer Service can do , well done ISTVAN and well done SIXT.

From Terminal 2, take a free train to Terminal 5 then a short walk over to the Sofitel. Easy access. Once there, the check-in was a breeze. Roshan was super friendly and helpful, A+ for giving us a much better class of car! What a great little car we got, so much fun to drive. Return was equally quick and easy as well. Definitely would pick up a car again from this branch if we make another trip back to UK. Overall, a great experience.

Pickup was easy. Regular shuttle from terminal 3 to their only location now at Sofitel terminal 5. Best thing is that it is door to door covered so no issues if raining. Wasim at the checkin desk was very helpful and efficient. Pickup was a breeze and so was the drop off. No significant time was wasted during either of the processes. The car was appropriately described and marked for existing damage extensively. There was no hint of them trying to stick me with bogus damage claim and the return was very professionally handled. I think Wasim also gave me a bit of an upgrade with the vehicle. Had booked a Clio and received a Fabia station wagon. Car was in great working condition and all fluids topped up. Interior and exterior were spotless on pickup.

Great customer service from the team at Sixt Heathrow. Car was clean and everything was as expected. Had a small issue which was promptly resolved by the manager Nav. Happy overall with the service provided and would definitely use again.

I hired an Audi A3 from sixt at Heathrow Airport due to a delay and therefore missing my connecting flight to Newcastle, I would of had to wait in the airport for 10 hours for the next available flight, my 5 year old had an ear infection which started on the flight so there was no way I could have waited that long. Originally I planned on hiring the car for a week and driving back down to London for the weekend and dropping the car back off at Heathrow but plans fell through and I ended up extending the hire for the rest of my trip (3 weeks in total) I also had to change the drop off location to Newcastle airport as my flights were already booked from there. I can’t thank sixt enough for making this as easy and stress free as possible for me! Every member of staff I encountered were pleasant and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Also, thank you for the suggestion on the Audi A3! It was a dream to drive! Well done Sixt!

After a harrowing day of cancelled flights and poor customer service all round, we met Baba who took care of us after I had parked in the wrong terminal. He arranged a colleague to cover for him and came with me to collect the car and park it properly as I was crying and too stressed to drive. By the time our little mission was up, I was de stressed and ready to deal with the airline again. He was sympathetic when he didn’t actually have to be as I wasn’t the nicest person to deal with when he first met me. He went the extra mile and his customer service skills were amazing. Thank you Baba.

Using Sixt for our two week car hire was a positive experience from start to finish. We encountered no problems, the vehicle was in great condition, and the recommendation from Grabriel at Heathrow was spot-on. I will reuse Sixt again as my first choice.

Amazing staff, very helpful and experienced in the vehicles they offer. Also it was a Great car. It was great to have a car with a built in navigation system heated seats and confort as we had a young baby and we drove from London to Manchester. Would definitely rent from Sixt again.
