Fell Bistro Longridge

Had a great valentines taster menu meal. Each course was very well put together with lovely flavors and presentation. The staff were professional, friendly and well trained. A good few places of high quality are in this area and this was one of the best so far. Well done to all the team.

Heard nothing but good things about this place so we thought we would give it a go for our 4yr anniversary.

Wow .. just wow .. what an amazing experience from the warm welcome from the friendly staff to the amazing food it was perfection.

For a light bite while waiting for the starters we had the Duck fat pittas with with fire roasted red pepper hummus which is one of the best hummus I've had.

I ordered slightly outside my comfort zone and had black pudding, crushed new potatoes, poached hens egg and mustard sauce. I'm so glad I tried something different, I was smitten at first bite.

the other half had Seabream, pickled vegetables and lobster sauce, I'm not a fish fan so I found it a bit too fishy, but he absolutely loved it said it was one of the best starters he's had.

For mains he had the confit pork belly, salt baked celeriac, apple and crackling. Every element on the plate complimented the other perfectly.

I had the corn fed chicken supreme, sweetcorn, lions mane mushrooms, and confit chicken leg parcel. The sweetcorn was in puree form and was lovely and velvety and paired with the beautifully cooked chicken with a slightly smoked flavor.

Quite simply it was heaven on a plate

Wonderful service it truly was.
The black pudding in a mustard sauce and hens egg was delicious as too is the seabass in a lobster sauce!

For main I had pork belly which fell off the fork, just wowsers with a fresh accompanied homemade sides and crackling... mmm the potatoes totally yummy.

Cheeseboard to finish with excellent selections from around the UK only the finest with lovely biscuits.

Seriously 10 out of 10 all round

We visited as a result of their Michelin guide mention and had the fabulous lunch menu. The food is certainly up there with the best of modern British cuisine, and the service from Alex and team was top notch. The lunch was incredible value, we had a couple of light bites to start, the crispy potato skins and sourdough bread. Both were really tasty. Followed by the leek and potato soup (the Lancashire rarebit was particularly incredible), and mains of cauliflower massamam and bacon chop with a side of carrot. It was all delicious, and way more food than we could finish. Unfortunately we had no room for dessert. All for less than £70 including service charge and a glass of very nice Chilean sauvignon blanc. I can see why it's so highly regarded, a real gem and worth a special visit. 5*

Ate there for the first time today. Will definitely go back. The staff were lovely and the food delicious. The warm sourdough and whipped butter as a snack (beware, it's a big snack) was gorgeous.

The food was nothing short of spectacular with great service to boot.
I am not a fan of giving full marks but my fillet steak was possibly the best I've ever had.
Also enjoyed several amaretto sours which were professionally mixed.
Can't wait to come back

Absolutely perfect evening , food fantastic , drinks lovely and atmosphere relaxing what more can you ask for ! The table was for 5 people...yes we ordered every dessert!!!!

10/10 from the minute we walked in. Lovely, welcoming front of house lady. The food was amazing, possibly the best Sunday roast my wife and I have eaten and being Northern we have had plenty of them. Oli & Matt were two of my favourite contestants on MasterChef professionals, so we knew we were in for a treat and their new venture did not disappoint. Hats off to the staff and other chefs at the Fell, amazing work. It was well worth the trip over from Bury, we will 100% be visiting again. Thank you to everyone at Fell Bistro for a lovely Sunday afternoon.

Tried the urban delivery a few times and it's excellent very glad I can experience this resturant. I mentioned I live next door as that's only reason I not been in to dine as wouldn't feel like I going out but the delivery is outstanding and will be a frequent customer

On my 4th time eating here and yet to have a complaint. Great relaxed environment and a well executed seasonal menu, accompanied by good wine and cocktails. Farmyard ale on tap to boot. Just what the local area needed

Wonderful food, easily some of the best I’ve had in the UK. Really attentive friendly staff, and a lovely ambiance with the open kitchen and decor. Never felt rushed and had a lovely evening. I had the set menu, and my husband had the fillet steak, cooked perfectly.

Yeah, top marks here. Sunday menu. Kids' meals were good and reasonably priced. Snack of whitebait was a bargain at £5/6, with plenty of it. Fire roasted beetroot was nice but not blown away. The main course of belly pork was excellent, and the cod with butter beans was lovely. I was worried about the cod dish not going to fill me up (45 Yr old!), but it did. Nice chunk of cod with loads of butter beans and brown shrimp, needed a spoon to eat all the sauce, which was delicious. I think there was a bit of tarragon in there, yum! Coffee, lemonade, table water, two glasses of wine (£12 a pop, chose a nice glass!), two adult starters and mains, 2 course kids, and three course kids came in at £131. Note, this included an 8% service charge of about £9.50 which I was happy with, as would have given more! Service great, food great and ambience great 👍

Brilliant restaurant with an open plan kitchen - adding to the ambiance. Staff are lovely and the food was 10/10. We had soft shell crab starters, and fillet steaks. Both were perfectly cooked and fresh to order.

Highly recommend.
