I bombarded him with dozens of emails😂 and he was so prompt at getting back to me on all emails and answered all my questions.

The handover of the motorhome was done by Mike Keating, another amazing experience.
He went through absolutely everything regarding the outside of the van and then took us inside and did exactly the same thing.
He spent nearly 2hours showing us around and then answering our questions.

Situated in a surprising location with lovely walks nearby. I live locally and often use the on site cafe. I sometimes chat to waiting customers in the cafe who have travelled miles to Marquis Motorhomes. They don't always know about the nearby Dock and River. A special shout out to Mike who has once again given invaluable advice regarding a recurrent electrical issue which is apparently common to Autosleepers. I’ve been part of a Caravanning family all my life and owned my own caravan/motorhome continuously since 1992 so I’m fairly competent to sort out minor issues myself. Not every company treats me as such Marquis is one of the few!. Mike in particular is a credit to the company and so helpful and friendly. Thank you

This is a slow review having collected our new motorhome on 8th April 2022, but I was waiting until the snags were fixed so that I could give a full review. We bought a 2022 Auto-Trail Scout (our 8th motorhome and 5th from Marquis Preston). To avoid the 12 month plus waiting list we bought the model that was shown at the NEC in February 2022. Marquis noted an issue with the Gelcoat during the PDI and notified me that their preference would be for a back to factory repair. However, we could collect and use the motorhome in the meantime. In doing so, and as usual with a brand new motorhome, we identified a small number of issues. I am now pleased to report that Auto-Trail has done a great job with the body issue and Marquis has fixed the heating system (small leak from boiler pipe work) and solar charging (failed solar regulator and fuse). I have sorted a few minor things myself, using parts posted out be Marquis (to save me having to collect the motorhome from storage and drive to Preston). On our most recent trip this weekend, everything worked as it should and we are looking forward to our upcoming trips. Having had 8 motorhomes we are are realistic with our expectations regarding problems after delivery and the timescales to fix them (which are not commensurate with the car industry). We are also aware of the impact of COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine with regard to staff and parts availability. With these factors in mind we are very happy with the service we received (which is why we keep returning) and with the quality of the product.

We have always had a great service from Marquis. Especially from Martin in the parts department. He is always very polite and helpful. He goes out of his way to help.

I would recommend Marquis for any of your motorhome needs.

I've recently part exchanged my Marquis motorhome for an Adria camper through Marquis in Preston and I found their service to be excellent. Richard was thorough and kept in touch regularly regarding the status of our new one (which was delayed due to Brexit and the war in Ukraine). When we did pick it up, there was a lorry fire on the motorway making us very late on a Friday night. Richard and Mark stayed back well after hours to handover the vehicle, ensuring we knew all the main ideosyncracies of that make and model. Furthermore, Richard has stayed in regular contact since to aid with a couple of minor snagging issues. Altogether very pleased having had some less than inspring experiences with other motorhome dealers.

Went in for some minor warranty work, which was completed swiftly and professionally, they even noticed a slight fault with the oven, that I hadn't noticed so they are putting a warranty claim in for a new one. Find the service team very friendly and helpful, especially Jean who goes out of her way to assist in any problems.

I would just like to thank every one at marquess motor homes at Preston for all help in picking are motor home and the ease at which Dave Clayton made the sales go through and Mike Keating for the easy hand over .
