Had lunch with a friend.
Chicken and bacon salad and a Greek salad.
It was delicious

Stopped off here while we were staying at Gowerton golf club. The food was gorgeous. I ate out of my comfort zone and I wasn't disappointed. The service was fab. Friendly fast and efficient. The grounds were beautiful too. Would highly recommend

Family's favourite place to eat. The service is always welcoming, and the food is great. Good range of options from pub classics to vegetarian. Everyone always enjoys their meals and the portions are good. The kids prefer here to chain restaurants that typically cater better to children, because the home cooked food is much better and the staff are great with them.
The pub interior is charming and cosy, and the food is reasonably priced. Hope they keep doing what they're doing as it's a winner.

A proper pub with proper beer. 8 of us sat down to a decent Sunday roast. Everyone enjoyed it. A nice afternoon nap would have been ideal, but we had to hit the road. Thanks to the team at The Poundffald Inn for making us feel so welcome.

Lovely atmosphere, kind and friendly staff and the locals are even nicer! Hidden gem!

Really nice pub -in the middle of the Gower/nowhere- superfriendly service/staff;
Extensive menu and good quality (e.g. the chocolate fudge cake!).
We'll come back surely !

Yes lived in Dunvant in 1966/67 and had not visited since then. The pub is charming, warm (very important at the moment) and the staff very obliging. Although we did not eat it was noted that food was very reasonably priced. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Go on treat yourself.

Excellent service.good choice of menu. Food was piping hot . Unlike some of the big chain restaurants. Will certainly recommend and will be back. Mine host was very obliging the service was excellent.

Amazing food, lovely atmosphere and welcoming staff. Can't fault this place - one of my firm favourites! Sunday lunch is brilliant but so are their everyday meals - plus REAL chips (always a winner)!!

Popped in to try the new breakfast menu offered until 12pm. I was not disappointed, I went for the Welsh breakfast and it was a very good portion including cockles, laverbread, sausage, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, beans and mushrooms toast was also included. The service was quick and efficient and only set me back £7.95.

I would wholeheartedly recommend a morning visit to this secluded village pub.

Been here a few times and it's always reliable. This time it was even better. The food was excellent and the service, as always, was first-class. There was a slight downside in that the people in the bar were a bit raucous and could be overhead in the lounge, swearing loudly. Not bothered for myself but we had grandkids with us so felt a bit uncomfortable.

Went with family to get together .We all had Sunday lunch .Highly recommended .You have to book and pay a deposit .

Had a beautiful Sunday lunch, I was 30 minutes late, no problem at all. The food was amazing, staff extremely polite and helpful. Will definitely return 👌🏻

Sunday lunch was recommended by friends and it did not disappoint. We had 6 different vegetables along with roast potatoes and a roast parsnip. If I had to complain, the Yorkshire pudding was flat and tasteless but I'm not a fan of them anyway. This is very much a pub, so no frills but the food is very good with well priced wine. Most enjoyable.

Lovely pub, amazing food and good service. Luckily we managed to get a table with only a couple of hours notice on a Friday night. Food was lively and great portion sizes, unfortunately we were too late to order dessert by the time we finished our mains. We went back for Sunday lunch and it was at full capacity, again, lovely food and generous portion sizes however, the staff were very busy and we didn't get table service. Would definitely return.
