I stopped by, having visited numerous stores in the area in search for a specific range of small bolts for my bicycle frame just before my bike tour departure, and I was fortunate to have had this store nearby. Josh and co. were super helpful and I was offered a number of spare bolts and nuts that I needed to attach the last bracket to a front pannier rack. They were also offered to me without charge, which was really generous, and I can only consequently express my gratitude in this review. Aside from this, the location is great, being adjacent to the railway station, and the duel-store has a good selection of bikes, parts and expertise. Would recommend 110% 🌿

From the first step into the shop I was a customer unlike others shops were unless you buy then your ignored. I had a test ride on a Brompton a few weeks earlier and the staff were brilliant and informative then came the time to purchase no pushy sales just knowledgeable friendly staff, we dealt with Abi who is an absolute credit to the store, communication was prompt and knowledgeable collection arranged with an agreed time and handover and paperwork was seamless..
We were so exited to collect our new Brompton bikes and Abi dealt with it all with a smile and absolute professionalism but with a friendly personality. Thanks from both of us Abi for all your attention to detail.

Excellent shop for ebike rentals with discounted long-term rates located conveniently inside the Preston train station. Pat gave outstanding route recommendations for my 2-week visit in Lancashire: from Arnside’s fairy step forest down to and then around Silverdale (Silverdale Cove, Jenny Brown’s Point and The Row) along with the cycling in and around Lancaster (along the shore from Glasson Dock, the canal towpath from Galgate to Carnforth and the River Lune path). The ebike makes the impossible possible and I was able to explore the beautiful rolling Lancashire countryside without scaring the sheep too much.

Was having some issues with dropper post called in on a chance might be able to sort before having to get a new one and guy in workshop (Josh I think) was bang on couldn’t be more helpful. Knew his stuff and fettled it up. Top guy 👍

Rented a hybrid bike here twice, both been in great condition, friendly staff and perfect location to rent to take on the Guid Wheel.

I am a returning customer of Leisure Lakes Preston, service is always absolutely top notch and mechanics often go the extra distance to fix any issues that may arise on my various bikes.
Recently dealt with Pat, Lloyd, Josh and Lucy who are excellent and very friendly. Within 5 minutes Lloyd diagnosed a fault with my bike that had been plaguing me for weeks. Would highly recommend this bike shop.

Not used LL since buying windsurfers too many years ago to remember at Tarleton!
As I've moved area they are now my nearest Specialized dealer. Asked by Specialized to take my bike there after finding a crack near the seatpost.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful throughout the whole process. They kept me informed all the way, took bits off my bike that I wished to keep and put my pedals in the new bike.
Great honouring of the lifetime frame guarantee by Specialized who replaced the complete bike that had done 21k miles.
I was on holiday when the new bike arrived which proved no issue as they stored it for me.

The new workshop setup in the adjacent building is excellent. Separates the sales from the servicing/ workshop function of the business. There’s not many bike shops that I’ve been to which get to work straight away on your bike. I had a crit race in the evening and was very grateful. Recommend them highly!

Bought a new h10 wild from lesuire lake's Preston had a few issues with it one ended up being quite major. No one really being at fault these things can happen but abbi and Lloyd's service was superb! A 24hour turn around and went the extra mile with a few extra touches. Brilliant service thanks!

Fantastic support for me whilst riding from John O'Groats to Land's End. I'd had recurring punctures and was professionally set up with a new tyre and inner tubes plus a good-will gesture new spoke fitted. Great service - Highly Recommended. Thank you.

After looking around in bike shops I popped into Leisure Lakes Bikes Preston Hub at the railway station not knowing what to expect. Wow I was shocked, although not a huge shop the staff (Abi, Lloyd and team ) have been amazing from start to finish. Didn’t know what bike I wanted but they helped me find my perfect bike. From my first visit and the endless emails I went and purchased a Cube bike. They kept me updated all along the way from ordering to collection day. Had the bike now over a week and have to say I’m so glad I didn’t go anywhere else, they have been fantastic. Great service, great bike and great after service. Well done Leisure Lake Bikes Preston.

I was looking for a place to get my bike repaired, it needed a bottom bracket, chain and new shifter. I went to Halfords first, who quoted me a sum around £150 for just those parts. Then, I took my bike to leisure lakes. After some chatting, they found problems with my bike Halfords didn't identify. I needed a new rear cassette, a new front derailleur, and some tuning on my rear derailleur too. I was quoted £124 for the entire repair. Through no fault of theirs the order was delayed a bit, and as compensation they discounted my repair by the price of a part, totalling £118. Super satisfied with the service and will be returning there for any further servicing needed.

I find the staff here very helpful here and the other day I called in to the workshop to get a replacement nut & washer for my old Brompton mudguard. Lloyd was happy to fix it on the spot for me. Cheers mate! Bill

Lloyd was fantastic when my seized through axle exploded into pieces in the station car park. He fixed everything there and then and I was straight out for a ride. Great, friendly service.
