The Granary at Fishweir Farm

We stayed in Treffynnon, the three bedroom accommodation. Absolutely lovely, has everything you need and the owners couldn't be more helpful. Stunning location, lovely to see so much wildlife including the resident peacocks! Close to Bridgend and the coast, hope to go back one day.

The Granary at Fishweir Farm is an amazing place to stay if you enjoy seclusion & serenity. The peacocks can sometimes be a little noisy but it's all part of the wonderful surroundings.
It has all you could wish for, beautiful rooms, country decor, very clean.
We had a minor issue with the wifi not connecting, but that's not such a bad thing if you want to get away from it all.

The Granary at Fishweir is incredible. Set in the middle of fields and farmland, accessed by country lanes, no traffic, no noise except the wildlife and farm residents. The grounds are stunning with a pond full of ducks, moorhens and visiting geese and a lawn full of pheasants, guinea fowl and a family of stunning peacocks. Perfect for peace and tranquility but close enough to sea and city to make this the perfect base to explore. The home is spacious and has everything you need. The hosts are so lovely. We are already planning our return!

Was a lovely place, the photos didn't do it justice, the owners are so lovely and friendly, left us some welcome bits, wine, chocolates, milk etc.
The Gardens are beautiful peacocks, a pond and horses, sheep in the field. Lovely to sit out in the garden
The inside of cottage was lovely, clean and comfortable, I loved having a soak in the roll top Bath!! 🛀
I stayed there with my partner his sister and their dad, and was plenty of room with 3 double bedrooms
I would highly recommend this place in the nice quiet countryside but still near the coast

Wonderful place. Ideal with kids. Mine loved the peacocks, the ducks and the squirrels. Also watching the eat from the window. :)
We arrived late and Geoff and his lovely wife filled the fridge, bought us bread, Welsh cakes and chocolate for the kids. Really really nice couple they are!

Excellent country side stay. Booked through airbnb. host is very friendly and polite. Place is clean and beautiful.
