Came to this cinema on the off chance and was pleasantly surprised by its charm and intimate setting with fewer than 50 seats in screen 2 it was perfect for me.
It felt like being in a mates private cinema and with enough of your closest friends you could have the place to yourself or even a kids party.

I'll definitely be coming here again and would rather come here now to help support local communities.

A community run cinema that's nearly 100 years old. Went to see a show with my grandson and it reminded me of going to the cinema with my mam. Little tuck shop for snacks and lovely art deco theatre. Would recommend supporting these community run establishments rather than the fat cat ones

Went there as its my closest cinema (I'm in seven sisters) and its independent. Loved it from the second I walked in! Very quaint, old school and the staff were nice as well! Only just found out the staff are volunteers which is awesome as well. Will go there now forever!

Prices were amazing. Brilliant experience 10/10

Great cinema refurbished and run by a charitable organisation. I watched my first film tonight on Screen 2. I enjoyed the intimacy of a smaller room which was clean and tidy. The seating was new and comfortable. There is a nearby parking facility. I look forward to returning to watch more films at this venue. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

This is by far my favourite cinema! I used to go here as a child with my parents, and now I take my children. They love it here. The volunteers are TRULY amazing! I went to a special screening of the last star wars film release where there were 3 films back to back. They arranged a bunch of storm trooper to patrol the cinema after the first film! It was an amazing touch as I'm a big star wars geek! Can't recommend it enough! I have so many fond memories here!!

Our family travelled 40min to get here today as we read good reviews online, and we were not disappointed! Got shown around by a very polite and curious gentleman and the place is stunning! Very reasonable priced and very comfortable! Highly recommended for any cinema lover! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic cinema and amazing staff who are volunteers - so even more credit to them. Great to see independent cinemas surviving in current climate. Sound system in screen one is awesome. Whats not to like?

Absolutely love this building. The face they have modernised the place is unbelievable as they have kept so many of thr natural authentic features of this cinema that its nowhere near the feel of the likes of the big boys so u get a much better feel. The snacks are fairly priced and they still do the ice cream tray during the movie. For the ultimate original cinema experience for tour family I would highly recommend visiting your local cinema over the mainstream ones every time

I love this place - maybe because of the nostalgia but they show current films, have a great staff, and ice-cream coming round at the interval. A little shop selling all good things you need to watch the film Good prices on the tickets as well. What's not to like!

What a gem!!! Absolutely amazing place.
Very reasonably priced, two adults and a 7 yr old cost less than £20 for tickets. A small tub of popcorn, three drinks, tub of ice cream and a bag of Sweets cost less than £10.
It has been a cinema for 106 years. And I hope it carries on for more than another 106 years!
The staff are lovely, very polite and helpful.
We would most definitely visit again, and others should go too.

Lovely cinema, it was a shame that more people hadn't claimed the free tickets offered by Cinematik.

This cinema is beautiful! A truly old world experience with all the modern technology. Staff are extremely friendly. A big added bonus is that staff can converse in Welsh

A lovely little cinema. Clean and tidy and staff very welcoming. A small cinema like this is what's needed more of over the massive chains.
Picture quality and sound was fantastic.

A really lovely local cinema with an inspiring story and a real community feel. A great size, and a lovely room full of history. Good seating, good screen and projection, good sound. We loved our visit. Thoroughly recommended.

It's always a pleasure going to this locally run cinema. All volunteers. Always polite staff. Snack shop has a fabulous variety of sweets, drinks chocs and snacks. Nachos and popcorn too.

Only one down side which drives me nuts is the people that go and watch the films that can't be bothered to put their own rubbish in the bin. Plain lazy. The staff then have to clean up quickly before the next film.
