Goodwood Racecourse

I was lucky enough to attend the final day of the Qatar festival, and it was absolutely incredible! Firstly, the atmosphere was amazing, the staff were approachable and happy to help. Crowds were great and the other race goers were friendly and welcoming. The horses were treated with utmost care and respect as at every course, and the dedication of stable staff showed through in the impressive performances! It was great to get to see the big names too, both horse and jockey - including Frankie Dettori.
The safety measures were very rigorous, meaning that we felt very safe once we were on the course.
The course itself was very large, stunning views and trackside was amazing, you can get very close to the action which is always my favourite part!
If you’re in the Lennox enclosure then do take a camping chair, as with the crowds only a few benches were available, there were lots around though so on a usual race day I assume it would be absolutely no bother for seats. Overall a wonderful day, probably one of my favourite courses that I’ve visited so far, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great and memorable day racing!

The Qatar festival is a premier horseracing festival held over 5 days which is just fantastic.
Although the weather was not brilliant sunshine all day on the Thursday I attended the entertainment the horseracing and just some great people watching just made for an amazing day out.
If you want to go to the most prettiest racecourse in the UK to watch some really good racing then it don't get muich better than this.
Highly recommended for races goers and anyone who just wants an amazing day of entertainment.

A great family day, lots of attractions for children. A very nice track located in a beautiful area.

I entered a 5k inflatable event this morning with my 5 sisters and one of my nieces. It was at Goodwood Racecourse.
The views from the racecourse are absolutely beautiful, and it's a lovely place to go for a walk.
The event was a real challenge especially for us because we are all between 60 and 68 years old apart from my niece.
We had signed on for 5k but only managed 2.5k. There were drinks and food available to buy after the event and it was a great experience. A massive well done to the organisers of the event.

We had tickets for the Richmond Enclosure on Family Day which made the day even more special! The racecourse itself is set in a picturesque area and is lovely to visit. There was great food available, a huge choice of bars and a brilliant atmosphere throughout!

Fantastic first day of Glorious Goodwood. We purchased Gordon's ticket which included meal and soft drink voucher, drinks voucher and parking.
A great day.

Fantastic weekend stay for FOS, definitely one to remember. Facilities were bang on, toilets/showers were clean, staff were as friendly as you get, genuinely cannot complain! 👍

I went to the Lennox Enclosure which is the smart casual option. If anyone is wondering on how strict the dress code is with the smart casual, you can wear trainers, shorts etc. Just no fancy dress or sleeveless tops.

It gets very busy here, so if you're ordering it would be good to get two drinks for yourself.

If you arrive early you'll have a seat, if not then it would be good to bring your own foldable chair.

They do offer food, burgers, fish, curry chip etc. Also coffee and ice cream.

Very organised place with lots of security.
Had a lovely afternoon watching the racing. Everywhere on site was clean, no litter, the toilets had attendants and were very clean.

Well organised from parking to course entry staff very welcoming and very pleasant. Beautiful location with far reaching views bars have a good selection of draught and bottled beers plenty of food choices all in all a fantastic day thank you Goodwood racecourse 10/10

Great day out at the races !
Shuttle buses run from Chichester station to the races for 8£ return for per person. Different enclosures depending upon the ticket purchased and access to food stands a d drinks

Went to the BBC Good Food Show. Excellent venue and show.

Fantastic place to watch racing. The views of the track and breathtaking views of the downs on one side, then Chichester Cathedral and out to sea on the other side. I had a great experience.

A good place to spend a day with family or with friends. You can come take a picnic and spend a nice time admiring the races as well as the views.

Everything was exceptional apart from the weather and racing abandoned on the last day

Goodwood Revival, was one hell of an experience, it was an amazing day and would have been an even better weekend if we had the tickets.
It's like stepping back in time and entering the 1950's we didn't want to leave, the smell of fuel, the ladies dressed up in their finary, kids roaming round in mechanics overalls, the swing music and the sound of roaring engines.
