Unbelievably clean we stayed in the guest house it was lovely there was a small fridge there was coffee and tea iron and ironing board outside patio area we had breakfast it was lovely and the chef was very friendly and welcoming we went for a wedding it was so beautiful and my niece managed to get some very beautiful photos along the loch I would highly recommend this for a wedding venue and somewhere to stay

As a wedding photographer, I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at The Cruin in Loch Lomond, and I must say, it was an absolutely stunning event. The venue is located in one of the most picturesque spots in Scotland, with breathtaking views of the loch and the surrounding mountains.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and they made sure that everything ran smoothly throughout the day.

From a photography perspective, The Cruin offered a variety of beautiful settings for capturing candid moments and posed shots. The outdoor area was especially stunning, with plenty of natural light and beautiful scenery to work with. The interior spaces were also impressive, with a modern and elegant decor that added a touch of sophistication to every photo.

One of the highlights of the venue is the jetty, which extends out into the loch and provides a unique and beautiful setting for photos. It's the perfect spot for capturing romantic, intimate moments between the couple, or for gathering the entire wedding party for a group shot.

Overall, I would highly recommend The Cruin as a wedding venue for its stunning location, exceptional service, and beautiful spaces for photography - especially the jetty! As a photographer, I was able to capture some truly magical moments for the happy couple, and I would love to work with this venue again in the future.

I've had the pleasure of photographing many weddings here over the years and every time I have found the venue staff to be exceptionally helpful, making every effort to consider the couples' wishes. If the weather is good, the staff are able to switch from an indoor ceremony to an outdoor ceremony at the drop of the hat, which is very rare for wedding venues. And THOSE VIEWS.... :-0

The food deserves an honourable mention as well - always excellent.

Recently attended for a wedding and stayed in one of the service apartments on site.

Attended a wedding here and location and venue were fantastic. Good was top quality and drinks proces reasonable. Staff were friendly, courteous and available to help.
Location offers many great photo opportunities.

We had several unique things and customizations including food from my wife's country. They handled these very well and cooked them really well.

The Cruin was an incredible venue for our wedding. The shores of Loch Lomond were stunning, even with a little rain it was an amazing view. The staff were so friendly and helpful from when we first met when booking the wedding to last orders. The food was delicious, really good quality and a decent evening buffet. Would highly recommend The Cruin to anyone looking for a fantastic venue with spectacular views.

Lovely venue right on the Loch,just perfect!

We stayed at the Loch Lomond Guest House and ate at The Cruin both evenings, and both meals were so, so delicious! The service was fantastic too. The chocolate brownie is a must 🤤

A hidden away gem ... amazing food as all at the table agreed.

Was there for a funeral but this place is lovely. Amazing views next to the Loch and relatively easy to find.

Went to a friends wedding here recently.
Very nice location, secluded, with no passing traffic or pedestrians. staff were friendly and efficient, everything went according to plan.
The food was truly excellent, the bar was reasonably priced and well stocked.
Plenty of room to park, well surfaced, no muddy feet etc.
I genuinely can’t think of anything negative to say.
Thoroughly Recommended, would happily use again.

Lovely we pier to walk down by the beach and the loch. Would recommend for day or evening stroll.

Beautiful location looking over Loch lomond, a spacious venue well layed out to give the feel of a classy but homely setting.

Fantastic setting for my son's wedding beautiful views, staff were brilliant and the food was amazing, I couldn't fault a single thing, even the breakfast next day was great.

Great meal, even better service. Managed to squeeze us in even though they were busy, and food was still quick to be served. Attentive and friendly yet unintrusive. Added bonus of a beautiful view of the lake. Would happily go again.

Went here for some Easter dinner. It was lovely, had lentil soup to start which was the nicest I have tasted in a long time, we then had fish and chips, it was a big portion so couldn’t finish it but it was really tasty the chips were chunky and the fish batter was light and fluffy. I then had mini egg cheesecake and it was better than I thought it was going to be, wasn’t too heavy, cream was nice and fresh and the biscuit base was amazing. Will definitely be back. Staff were lovely and very attentive, place was spotless and the views were beautiful over the loch, had it been a warmer day we would have sat out in the patio. Cant fault anything about my visit.

What a great restaurant! The interior and outside is beautiful, food was delicious and there are many gluten free options available.

The service was excellent, friendly, helpful, efficient and highly professional. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with real wood furniture and a log fire burning and surrounding views of the Loch lomond and mountains, whither on a cold day or a special occasion this is a magical place to rest. The food was so good, warm to the body and nourishing to the soul. I had soup, beef with potatoes and veg and cheesecake for after. The beef was so tender and tasty and the cheesecake was creamy with just the right amount. All was homemade. This is a family friendly restaurant. I would recommend booking in advance as it is a popular venue. Happy dining x
