Had day surgery at Vale of Leven yesterday.
What a lovely wee hospital and immaculately clean.
All the staff were so nice, I was spoiled the whole time I was here.
Can’t thank them all enough, I was very nervous and they put me at ease.
The coffee and toast afterwards was amazing.
NHS at its best 🌈

High praise for all wonderful nurses and consultants (A&E and Fracture Clinic). I was attended to twice over the last few days. I’m extremely impressed with the service and grateful for all the care I received for my broken leg. Thank you! Anna

I attended the Minor Injuries unit yesterday with a badly cut hand after falling running a half marathon. I just wanted to say what a positive experience it was. The receptionist was really friendly which was a great first impression. The nursing staff were all lovely, very caring and professional. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. An excellent service. Well done and thank you!

My Mum had amazing care during cataract surgery from the great Dr Julie and the fabulous nurse Ann. She was so well looked after as everyone was so kind and fun.

While on holiday I was taken ill, my wife decided we must see a doctor as I was getting worse,we went to the Vale of Leven Hospital. Within less than 20 minutes I was on a bed having blood tests ,ECG, and a Doctor sorting me out. Later I was transfered upstairs tto AMRI and admitted to ward 3.I live in Walsall West Midlands, and was on holiday, I can honestly say The Doctors, Nurses and all the staff were 100% at their best, their credibility will always be remembered, Many thanks from my wife Dorothy and myself to you all.

Excellent, medical staff all well experienced and friendly, only limited by GG& Clyde Health Board diverting much needed local services I.e. Cardiac and Maternity to RAH Paisley, in dubious, misguided belief that bigger is better . . IT ISN'T

I was in on the 17th off May to the day surgery unit. The staff were great courtesy and it was such an easy process... and also a big thank you to the staff in theater..

I’m a bit late reviewing the minor injuries dept, as I only got home to Devon a couple days ago but want to leave a positive review!!

I came in with what turned out to be a fractured ankle, and all the people there really looked after me!! The nurse practitioner (Claire-Marie, I think) and nurses (the main one I spoke to was Linda McDonald, again I think) I met were all extremely professional and a credit to the hospital. I was wheelchaired around. (no mean feat, as I’m 18st and 6ft 2) by ladies who kept me smiling , despite the fact I was a bit sore!!!! Next time I do the West Highland Way, I’ll try NOT to visit 😀

Have just attended the Respiratory Clinic at the Vale .All areas were spotless which is reassuring in the current climate . The nurses Alice and Pamela were friendly, reassuring and very professional .All tests were carried out efficiently but with due care and attention .
Dr Ling was knowledgeable , efficient and caring I have every faith in her as a consultant. Was worth the trip to the Vale from Paisley !!

The receptionist at the ECG department today was very helpful on the phone as it's my first time having some tests done she kindly explained what's going to happen. I understand how busy the NHS service is which is of no fault of the staff and I'm thinking to get private healthcare to speed things up for future appointments and to perhaps free what would be my space up to someone who perhaps can't afford private healthcare.

Another brilliant service of NHS - attended xray dept today and staff were very
friendly and helpful. From start to finish was so stress free. Ankle was x- rayed and on
my way with 20 mins. Your hard work is appreciated under these stressful times - thank you

I attended the minor injuries unit a couple of weeks ago, for second degree burns, and went back the day after for redressing. Staff could not have been kinder. I am most grateful for all the help I received as I was in a state of shock.

Just took a family member to A&E,at VOLH,in EXTREME AGONY, and was informed by GORDON,(receptionist),that he would not be seen by Any, Doctor,or nurse,as it is not a walk in, while nurse on duty, scuttled away and hid in cupboard. Didn’t know receptionis,s had been trained up,to make these decisions, by just looking at you, through glass. Abhorrent attitude, also. Wrong Vocation, folks. Wher is Duty of care??. So just to let you know, myself and family, will No Longer, be at your walks, rallies to keep. Service open. WHAT SERVICE?? Absolute Joke. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮💯%

I had to visit Vale of Leven Hospital Hospital Minor Injuries Unit today
It is not my local hospital and I was amazed at the courtesy afforded me in each part of the visit
The senior nurse Christine Buchanan couldn’t have been more professional and I was sorted in minutes.
Christine and her assistant were so good I cannot praise them or the Minor injures Init enough. 10 ⭐

I cannot praise the staff of the VOL hospital enough, especially the endoscopy unit!!! Each person in that unit couldn’t be friendlier, more informative or more professional on every level!!! They put me at ease immediately and showed great care during my procedure. Following my procedure I was immediately informed of my results and everything was explained in detail, I didn’t feel rushed or a burden whatsoever!!! I pray that the VOL continues to operate and expands so that all of us in the area can continue to receive such wonderful care. Thank you so much 🙏🏻
