The Flintgate - Weybridge Pub

Gent behind the bar was very friendly and extremely helpful, letting me try a few options and helping me make my choice. Great selection on tap. The Roast Dinners also looked incredible!

Lovely pub, great selection of beers on tap, the food was the highlight, went for the chicken burger which was crispy and tender, with a side of mac and cheese. An absolute delight!

Food is always great. Staff are very friendly. If ordering drinks on the app it can take a while for them to get it to you though. Burger Mondays are a solid deal and their roasts on Sundays are the best I've had at any pub ever.

Well kept and pleasant atmosphere.
Staff were polite and attentive from the start to the end of our visit. Restaurant was at max capacity on a Sunday lunchtime.
Gave a 20 minute lead time on food but seemed more like 10.
I had the mix of three meats from the roast..

Chicken-it's chicken, there is no doing this wrong!
Lamb-lovely, I will order this on it's own next time.
Beef-tasted good, just a little too much effort chewing for me.

Pudding.
Sticky toffee and churros with chocolate dip.
Took about 15 minutes to arrive. I thought the puddings were nice but not at the same standard as the main dishes.

Made every effort to make our visit a success.

Nice lunch! Rather cold inside the restaurant! Good service as usual. Tried the special korean chicken burger. Wow! Update 12/12: went for lunch. Place was packed with Christmas partiies! Fish
and chips was good though. Usual brilliant service. Update 15feb24. Excellent lunch - great service and the restaurant was warm! Until someone complained they were tòo hot so the waitress opened the window to st. Mary's! Why not tell then to relocate to the garden or to take a layer of clothes off? I was sitting on the garden side of the restaurant (19). In a t-shirt having lunch with a friend recovering from cancer treatment. We left.

The food, staff and service are absolutely fantastic. I've had the steak and ale pie a few times and it's the best pie I've had in a while. The ambience is great and staff are friendly and polite. They have a great selection of beers as well. There is also loads of outdoor seating which would be great in summer. Evening are usually fully booked so you would need to book a table in advance. I would definitely recommend the Flintgate.

This is easily one of my favourite pubs in the UK, this may sound like a bold statement, and is very subjective but this is why.

These guys always have an incredible array of beers, this is obviously one of my reasons for loving this place so much. It is integrally connected with Big Smoke Brewery and offers as far as I can tell every one of their beers and they do good beers.

The second reason is they BBQ food and they do it well. Every time I’ve been here I’ve left feeling full of good food. It may not be fine dining but it is good food done well, and when I say well I mean to a high standard.

The staff are really friendly and welcoming, offering help and samples to get the best beer for you. If you want a fun night out wether it be inside or out this is the place to come, we go all the way from Godalming, admittedly we do have friends in Weybridge but I would happily make the journey just for this pub. That’s how highly I rate it.

They have an incredible outside space which has heaters in the winter but in the summer it’s a buzzing lively place. They even converted their Car Park into outdoor space during lockdown and I think it was great move.

They are dog friendly and I will be back soon… again.

Fantastic pub, has a great selection of beers on tap, not only the big smoke ones who are the brewery who own the pub, but also guest beers as well. They have about 10 draft beers and then three or four cask beers. A great range of wines and spirits as well.

I've never eaten here but the food looks very good.

Today I used it as a place to have a beer whilst enjoying the sun in their lovely beer garden and did some work whilst waiting for my car Aircon to get regased.

The only issue with this pub is that it isn't closer to my house so I didn't have to drive. 1st world problems. It's also dog friendly.

Update - have been back for some lunch on another occasion on a Monday lunch. Nice selection of options, lighter bites as well as mains. I made use of the beer and a burger deal which was £16 and was a good double burger with a big smoke beer. Food was great for lunch and they were baby friendly as well.

Lovely pub this, food was excellent, the burger was one of best I have had in long time. Loads of space to sit outdoors, with pods and benches and canopy and parasol. Highly recommend this pub especially if you are a large group. Have a great selection of beers and drinks on offer.

The food here was amazing! Everything was fresh and tasted great. The only issue we had was having to ask multiple times for a side of vegetables we had ordered. They finally arrived after we were done eating, but the staff was very apologetic, and they, like everything else, tasted great. The outdoor seating was cozy, and we loved being able to turn on the heat lamp, as it was just a little chilly out. Would definitely recommend!!

Well decorated, welcoming pub. Great menu (believe it has just be updated).

Lovely food, chicken was a little strange in texture but my duck and the WAFFLES WERE AMAZING! Better than Creams' Banofee.

We were served my Alistair, was a friendly and not pushy. Knew his stuff when we asked about NYE and rugby events which was great.

Will definitely be coming back 🎉

The staff are so lovely! Food is nice and well priced! We had our baby shower here was was a large booking outside and the staff were honestly just so lovely! Everyone had a good time and commented on how lovely the staff were! We would definitely come back!

Had a lovely lunch for four. Meat Pie, grilled haddock and fish and chips were all served hot and delicious. The local beer was outstanding. The service and ambiance was very good too.

Lovely pub with excellent quality, great value food. Superb vegan selection (for those plant based folk). Fab service. Sorry I didn't visit sooner!

Josh was a great waiter, he gave me brilliant service and he's a lovely guy. Because of him I will definitely come again.

Wonderful pub super chilled but lively atmosphere! Tastey AF food and most of all super friendly staff! Enjoying the bank holiday and we accidentally spilt a drink the staff had a bit of banter with us and gave us a replacement drink for free! If your looking for a relaxed placed to come as a couple or a family this is the place to go! Ps dog friendly. Thanks Flintgate x

If I could give this pub 6 stars I would. The pub that Weybridge has desperately needed for a while. Frequented in here since it opened in Nov/Dec 2018 and never had a bad experience and have had 4/5 great meals plus plenty more for a drink and always a new variety of beers. The staff are brilliant and very friendly. If they could move the pub about 1 mile closer to where a live it would probably be 7 stars. Also, Rob is an amazing host that always interacts and makes guests feel comfortable.

Absolutely incredible roast! Service was impeccable, atmosphere is amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough. Definitely get down to the Flintgate on a Sunday.

Amazing!

Great place to go for a couple cold ones. Beers are hitting the maximum bubbles per square inch. Friendly service all around and staff very attentive. Manager Nathan always friendly and this is my 6th visit this week. Thanks to Hamish for serving us very friendly and good knowledge on the beers. Steaks 10/10. Also toiletries in the cubicles a nice addition to keep fresh if you are a little whiffy.

Had a delicious Christmas lunch with the family. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. Service was excellent - fast and attentive. Would highly recommend.
