Fisher & Donaldson

We had a lunch there on Saturday and got o say it was fabulous.

The staff were incredibly understanding as we swapped tables during our stay as more visitors came to join us. What a great bunch and thanks to the manager for the banter and putting up with our noise and nonsense on a busy Sat afternoon.

The starters were tasty and enjoyable but the fabulous fudge donuts were to die for.

Another big surprise was the cost for lunch in St.Andrews we were pleasantly surprised how cheap it was.

Certainly go back to Fisher and Donaldson next time we're in St. Andrews.

All staff were really friendly and welcoming.
A really nice cafe which is very clean and has a great atmosphere too.
Only minus is there are no mirrors in the restrooms however the restrooms are lovely.

The best wheaten scone I've ever had and first class cakes.
Also a really hot coffee which isn't always easy to get.

Fisher and Donaldson has quickly established themselves as one of the best cafes in st andrews. There is good choice and the food is lovely, especially their baked goods. The hot chocolate is also incredible. Decently priced

One of the best Doughnuts and eclairs I’ve ever had.
Located in Church Street, between Market Street and South Street in St. Andrews. I’m here everytime I am around. Mostly tried all pastries they offer. Must try the doughnuts, eclairs and tower.

Lovely bowl of soup and an onion bridie with home made chutney and a wee rhubarb pie for afters delish...

This was my first time in this cafe. I didn't even know it existed but I was really impressed with the place. It seems a popular place by the amount of customers coming and going. They offer a good range of food. I had the lentil soup, which was delicious, and my wife had the soup of the day, Thai chicken, which she thoroughly enjoyed. They had a selection of their beautiful cakes. I had a fudge doughnut, my favourite, and the meringues looked lovely too. Staff were ever so friendly and I can't recommend the place highly enough!

Great wee cafe doing all the basics really well - coffee was spot on, food tasty (it's F&D, come on!), friendly prompt and professional service, plenty space - everything just right. We'll be back.

New cafe opened on South Street. Fisher and Donaldson are an old established bakery in St Andrews. Now you can enjoy the exquisite baking with the hot beverage of choice. I recommend the strawberry tarts.
Not a cheap visit, but here you get what you pay for. Enjoy.

Perfect place for tea, sweets and savories. Inside and outside seating. Clean restrooms. Friendly, efficient service. Yum.

Daughter (aged 5) said the cheese sandwiches in the kids meal were the best in the world. Very friendly staff who engaged beautiful with my daughter.
