This is a great service. Load your details online and an immediate cash offer given. Slightly less than another offer I had received, but a more local service and I remember "Recycling Lives" from when they started way back and I was happy to support them. Anyway, offer accepted.
Good email communication and when I had a small query the phone number (yes, they have one and real people) was answered almost immediately and the lady was very helpful.
On the day of collection the pick-up was smooth with no problems (they initially collected the keys and the paperwork, leaving the car for later in the day) and the money was received to my bank account before the car had left the street.
Magical stuff. Larger companies take note - proper customer service.

Driver rang me on the day to check the time for collection would be okay. He only took a few minutes to collect the vehicle and I received my money 24 hours later. I was a bit worried after seeing some negative reviews but for me it couldn’t have gone any better.
I was quoted a great price and given a pickup day and afternoon slot. Driver called me around 45 minutes before arriving. Was here on the dot. Car was taken within five minutes. Incredibly professional friendly driver. Then the funds as agreed hit my bank 24 hours exactly after the car went.
I don’t know how it could possibly be any easier.

I decided to go with Scrap car network, as they offered the best price to scrap my car. Having read the reviews, i was dubious as the recent reviews are mixed. Thankfully the whole process went smoothly for me, from quote, arranging collection to payment. Had booked a morning slot for a few days time, the driver called that morning and said he'd be with me in an hour. Arrived on time, we signed papers and he said payment should be made the same day by 5.30pm. I checked my bank account at 6pm and the money was in my account! Would recommend this company to others and wouldnt hesitate to use them again myself. 5 star

Pays allot more than scrap dose, Driver wasn't the best though he took some convincing the car could be removed! at the start he said (can't be done) and started to walk off as it was an auto with no keys stuck in drive so couldn't be loaded without keys thankfully after some advice on the fact there will be a release button of sorts below gear stick for these kinds of occasions well, he got there in the end and most importantly the money was in fast so 5 * all day...

Anyone thinking of using the service should not hesitate. Within 48hrs of contact, the car had been collected, destroyed, certificate of destruction issued and more eyes paid into my bank account. 1st class service by a 1st class company.

After looking at other scrap dismantlers, this was the one who gave a really fair price for my car. Easy to use website, pick the time that suits for collection and get money into the bank the following day. The driver was so nice and chatted about the charities and young offenders they help back into work. I felt so much better giving my business to a company that looks at helping the unfortunate.
Trustworthy 100% would recommend to anyone thinking of scrapping their car.

Quickest easiest thing I've ever set-up. I was a bit concerned about the Bank Transfer aspect as I don't usually care to give bank details but these are a professional company so I should have known there would be no need to worry.
I got a full explanation of the scrap process by the collector of the car too so I knew my little car would have any usable parts recycled.

I didn’t even have to explain myself why I needed the car gone same day (We’re doing up the driveway) and the polite lady on the phone spoke to a driver named Saul who came this afternoon and took it away with no hassle, he explained what I needed to do, then went on his way. Excellent! Easy to organise pick up, phone call 30 mins beforehand and when the truck would have been too large to get down a fairly narrow multi-used driveway, rearranged with me for a smaller truck the following day. Gave accurate 'between' times so no time-wasting hours all day and was flexible enough to work around my job hours (I couldn't do mornings). When Chris (Wakefield) came, there was some manoeuvring to be done to get my car onto the truck, but he did it cheerfully and quickly and gave me advice about de-registering my car.

I made an online enquiry about scrapping my elderly car at 11am. I received a response almost immediately and had completed the process and left with the relevant documents, a cheque and a good service from the merchants by 1. 30pm. Couldn't have asked for a smoother process - thank you.
