Visited the Brae Cafe for the first time today with my family who are regulars. I was very impressed. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The place has a lovely cosy atmosphere. The food was very tasty and the portion size was incredible. My daughter (8yr) ordered a ham and cheese panini from the kids menu and it was more than enough. I ordered chicken fillets and it was more than I could eat. So the portion size is great and the price you pay for it is very reasonable. I was definitely stuffed when we left. We took away so cakes to have later from their delicious looking selection of homemade cakes and tray bakes. Would definitely recommend this Cafe. I look forward to my next visit. 😀

Outstanding little cafe: friendly staff, excellent food (meals and cakes), good coffee, lovely atmosphere. Dine in at lunchtime and takeaway available 4-7pm Friday and Saturday, order through their Facebook page. What more could you ask for?

Food tremendous, an A la Carte experience for a very affordable price.
Mine host Callum is utterly charming and he makes a mean vegan chocolate cake, and I am not even vegan!
Look out for the hidden dart board behind the magic mirror in the bar area, the Brae Cafe has got a really lovely atmosphere with a very well stocked bar.
