Just an amazing location and accommodation that is beautifully finished. We spent a few days exploring the local walks. Dog friendly, gorgeous setting.

Incredible. We stayed at North Lodge and what you get for your money is amazing. The scenery and privacy is awesome. Everything is well maintained and extremely clean. My favourite place in the world ran by lovely people.

Great location for a digital detox with no phones and lots of wood fired devices. Fantastic hosting with office and small shop on site meaning you can relax and enjoy the very well appointed accommodation. Thanks to the team for a very relaxing stay and adding another fantastic wild swimming location to our list.

Kind of out in the middle of nowhere, but isn't that the point? The room was fully stocked with wood for the fireplace, records for the record player, and books for the mind. Comfy beds, pet friendly (but don't get on the furniture!), Full kitchen. Wood fired hot tubs take a bit to heat up due to heat transference and fluid dynamics, but are then sublime.
Stay here as long as possible if you want to reset and connect with nature and find yourself again.

Wonderful place. Beautiful setting and styling throughout. Everything is to such a high standard, from the renovation to the cutlery, from the wood fired hot tubs to the art and books.

Signs by Umberto both worked and stayed at this incredible location. My family and I stayed in Number 4 Cottage which was very spacious and both a sense of luxury and country side living. Anything I could have wanted from a place, this cottage has, [record player being my favourite]. The location is a place I will never forget, the walk up to Clachnaben is magic. I left a bit of my heart in Glen Dye, which I'll always return to. The Gladstone's are very good at building memories for people and this place will not disappoint.

My wife and I had the most fantastic stay at the Saw Mill cabins. Both the airstream and cabin were super comfortable. The outdoor wood fired bath was the absolute highlight. We ate homemade pizzas cooked from the pizza oven and drank wine next to the fire. The scenery when walking around the area is stunning. Very romantic.

Absolutely fabulous. Our cottage, No. 4 The Steadings, was beautifully appointed and super comfortable and a wonderful place to come back to after a long hike in the wilderness of the enormous estate. There was a chef residency day during our stay, which was very well attended and a lot of fun. I can't think of a better place to go to switch off for a few days and unwind, especially as there are no mobile phone signals, although there is WiFi and a land line in the cottage

A very special place: amazingly equipped and detailed cottages in an area of natural beauty. Close enough to local towns and restaurants (15 mins), but far enough away to feel like a true escape. A week here wasn't enough ... walks / runs up clachnaben, fire pits, outdoor hot tub, pub / games room, pizza oven, big green egg BBQ, record player, and organised activities should you want. Highly recommend, and the team were very helpful & responsive with any query

family stay over xmas period, could not have wished for anything better. Cosy, quiet steadings cottage, beautiful surroundings with complementary real xmas tree & door decoration.

I visited the place during their festival. Loved the vibe and the food. The shop has a lot of local products.
