Trallwm Forest Cottages

Absolutely blown away by the peace and relaxing environment of this area. We stayed in the Heron cottage. It had a lovely enclosed area for the dogs, which meant we could let them potter about happily without too much concern. The hot tub initially looked like it was pretty open to anyone walking by, but once you're in it, it's actually angled in such a way that people can't really see much more than your head.
The cottage itself was clean and tidy, with maps of walks for the area and a list of names and numbers of local amenities.
The location is beautiful and if you get a clear night, the stars come out in force!
I will most definitely be back here!

We enjoyed a blissful long weekend here with our two dogs in a quaint little cottage which was tucked away on its own. It was just beautiful. The area is forested all around with great trails for mountain biking and walking. The cottage is well equipped and really cosy and nice to relax in. Lovely fire; always top of my list when looking for nice holiday cottages. We loved the outside space; it was private, quiet, surrounded by nature and birdsong. The wood fired hot tub is wonderful; a real treat! This is one of the loveliest places I have stayed and can heartily recommend.

We had the most relaxing and peaceful stay. If you want to get away from it all and spend some time in nature then this is the place for you! Beautiful accommodation kitted out with everything you need. Throughly recommend ❤

Have been coming here over the last 9 years ,the best walks through and around the forests & rivers .
Just the most peaceful setting with the wood burners and wood fired hot tubs .

A nugget of gold - location, cottage and welcome- amidst the abundant Welsh countryside. Second time I have been back, and I will be back again. Cottages are an incredibly high standard - beautifully furnished and scrupulously clean - with all the mod cons you could wish for. Wonderful _ apart from the fact I had to go home!

We stayed at Tawny Owl cottage in January 2022 and it was exactly what we needed. The cottage was beautifully kept, clean, and cosy with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The cottage was fully stocked with logs for the fire and the wood fired hot tub which made for such an easy, warm stay. Having no signal for a few days and no wifi is perfect and the walks through the forest were magical and mystical. And really well maintained. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!! We will definitely be back soon.

If you want peace and quiet this is the place to go. Converted out buildings are excellent most have a log burner and hot tub. Located in a forest with 3 mapped trails. Good location so you can check out the surrounding area

Stunning, secluded house (we stayed in Nant Garreg) with great facilities. Hot tub and table tennis table were great. Local walks around the forest were very nice. Definitely would return.

Fabulous cottages with hot tubs in beautiful woodland in Mid Wales. My home from home and a great base for exploring the Cambrians or the Brecon Beacons or even staying closer to home by exploring the forest trails and visiting the stunning Abergwesyn Common or tackling Drygarn Fawr.

Beautiful cottages on the edge of the very remote kingdom area that is a 400 square mile area completely uninhabited. Seriously beautiful area. Also, has a mountain centre as well.

A 3 night stay for myself and partner.stayed in kestrel cottage stunning cottage with great views of the forest and stream that runs nearby .hot tub was excellent took 3 and half hours to heat up 1st night then about 2 hours next night.if your looking for a tranquil break with great scenery this is the 1.. no phone signal or WiFi but good to get away from technology for a while.👌🏽

This was the place where I was born. Actually in the middle bedroom of Trallwm. I used to fish in the River Cnyffied and make hay in fields that are now forested. Happy childhood memories
