La Plancha - Restaurant Angoulême

We loved this restaurant. A great choice of raclette, fondue, fish/seafood, meat and also mussels and more!
Great atmosphere, great service. We will definitely return.

We were only familiar with cheese fondue, but the waiter kindly explained the process of oil and wine fondues. Both were delicious. We also enjoyed a chocolate fondue with fruit for dessert. They have a really nice locally produced rum.
Staff was friendly and able to help out English speakers with little French knowledge.

The meat from the plancha terroir was delicious, especially the duck meat (magaret). So are the sauce poivre and the salade ! The server was real nice and enthusiastic, too !

First - the restaurant is open on Monday..

I visited it in 2021 then 2022 and now 2024 .

Every time I'm in Angouleme i have a dinner here.

Our first experience of a true French Plancha. Lots of different raw meats to cook ourselves at the table on a grill. The meat was very fresh, so was tender & delicious.
Excellent service & reasonable prices.
If you're near Angouleme old town you should eat here

We were here in juli, with my friends,we were looking for a nice restaurant or eatery,then our eye fell on this nice restaurant,looked super cozy with the cartoons on the wall,so we decided to eat here , we were Kindly served by the owner himself, and the food it was very good very nice ,do you remember us hahah, we ate very well and were offered a delicous caramel milkshake,own recipe that has been in the business for years, and it was absolute delicious!

Nice place located on a small fresh square, run by a young but professional team. They put crème fraîche on my apple crumble when they understood I was not fond of ice cream, after a small gastronomic chat about the different way of accompanying the tarte Tatin! The food is nice, prices are more than affordable, and you almost feel at home, especially after fighting to find a place for diner where you are not treated like just yet-another-annoying-customer!

Manifestement, l'amour du travail bien fait, ne s'inscrit pas, dans les valeurs de cette établissement.
Néanmoins, l'expérience fût mémorable.

Une soirée entre amis réussie, restaurant vraiment sympa, bonne ambiance, personnel attentionné. Malgré le monde de part la BD, le personnel a super bien géré. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. La cuisine est top, le concept super sympa. Bref un super moment.

Les fondues et raclettes sont excellentes, tout ce que nous y avons mangé était délicieux.
Nous y sommes allés deux soirs d'affilée rien que pour leurs fondues.
Beaucoup de plats à volontés tels que la raclette ou les fondues, et c'est vraiment agréable quand c'est de bonne qualité.
Nous les avons prévenu d'un anniversaire au dernier moment et ils se sont débrouillés pour avoir un gâteau avec bougie/musique etc.
Je recommande chaudement.

Nordistes de passage à Angoulême. Bonne ambiance, service impeccable, les serveurs sont super gentils ! Les plats sont bien présentés et bons ( nous avons pris une salade de chèvre chaud et une entrecôte avec frites) à noter, la sauce du chef au vin rouge est à découvrir ! Merci pour l'expérience !

Un restaurant que je conseille vivement. Les mets sont de qualités, la planche du Terroir avec ces différentes viandes sont excellentes. Pour la fondue savoyarde c'est juste à en redemander d'autres et les moules au curry sont aussi fraîches que bonnes et bien sûr à volonté. Quand au dessert la fondue au chocolat un bon dessert pour les gourmands. Le café gourmand et la tarte tatin tout est bon ..rien à redire. Un personnel très agréable, de bons conseils, à l'écoute. Merci à vous d'avoir contribué à me faire passer une belle soirée avec mes enfants. On reviens bientôt !!!
