I stopped off here on the way back from shopping, hoping they were still serving food at 1.45. They were. I had a delicious meal and wonderful piece of cake for dessert. I treated myself after shopping for 2 hours. The welcome from the 2 ladies working there was as if I'd known them for years and had popped over to their home to see them. Nothing was too much effort. My maltesser toppled off my cake, I was devastated. No sooner had a reached to down to throw it in the bin, the lady was at my table with another maltesser on a plate. So kind. I'd definitely recommend stopping by, even for just a fruit tea or coffee.

We arrived without realising the Coffee Cave was not normally open as a café on Sundays - however, we were immediately offered a cup of tea, and we chose an absolutely delicious Lemon Meringue cake (with extra cream!).

What fabulous service - thank you!

Love this place, Vicki the owner is so friendly and chatty always gives our dog a treat. Great for food snacks and small meals, special Rost dinner on some Sundays, full English breakfast is served on Saturdays I believe but you must book as with the Sunday roast, massive selection of fabulous cakes and ice cream, good coffee and tea, cosy atmosphere, highly recommended. Amazing place, perfect setting to enjoy a beverage of any kind and just to watch the world go by.
Food all very scrumptious and Coffees made to personal taste.
As I'm gluten intolerant, every effort was made to accommodate me.
cannot rate this place highly enough

Our favourite coffee shop. We go twice a week and often meet friends there. Great atmosphere and very friendly, helpful staff. Vicki & the team always make you feel welcome.I think we have worked our way through the whole menu from the bacon sandwiches to the sunday roasts, looking forward to taking friends and family when they come to visit,

We don't get to Coffee Cave frequently but whenever we've been we've always enjoyed our visit. We've always had a warm welcome and have enjoyed the food, home made cakes and lovely coffee. If we lived nearer we would visit more regularly but it's always a lovely outing to visit whether with my husband or with friends. Highly recommended.

We popped into Coffe Cave for a takeaway coffee and sausage rolls to take to friends on our way home. We used to live in Villefagnan now its a 1.5 hour drive and do so miss our walk up the road for coffee or lunch. Always a warm welcome from Vicki and the other staff so friendly and helpful. We were so tempted by the amazing cakes on display all looked so delicious. Highly recommend a visit we look forward to our next 3 hour round trip !! Thanks as always Vicki.

Great place - friendly staff, good service, lovely coffee and excellent food - what more do you need? We have visited for the Full English breakfast several times and it is always a treat. Yesterday, we tried the Sunday Lunch for the first time and were blown away - the meat (lamb) was melt in the mouth, the roast potatoes, vegetables, yorkshire pudding and gravy were all delicious and freshly cooked. The cauliflower cheese was the best I've ever tasted. The range of vegetables was excellent (brocoli, carrots, roast parsnips, mashed swede as well as the roasties and cauli cheese) so most people would find something they liked even if they were picky. All rounded off with a lovely carrot cake for my husband and gorgeous lemon cheesecake for me (although we ended up sharing both!) You could also order starters and wine with the meal although we chose not to this time. Quantity was about right for us (we certainly couldn't have eaten more.) I thoroughly recommend this place.
