This was one of the best restaurants we have visited in France. The tasting menu was amazing and great value.
The service was discreet but very attentive. The newly decorated restaurant was very pleasant to spend the evening

We loved this place. It's a perfect blend of modern and ancient, sophisticated and charming. The food was delicious and the master sommeliers collection of wines wonderful. The staff very friendly. Nestled in the village of Tusson, you feel transported to a magical place. A surprise discovery for us.

And if you come, someone in the party has to order the 'Chocolate Soup'.

Very well presented restaurant in a beautiful setting. The friendly staff are happy to discuss the extensive wine selection to suit both the food and your taste.
The most surprising thing, however, was that quite often, the quality of the food means that the quantity is reduced, but this is not the case here, the food was exquisite and fulfilling. The establishment is definitely aiming high and achieving that goal.
Service was perfect even though most of the tables were filled, can't say that in many places. It's you struggle with French then the staff are able to speak English when your vocabulary runs out.
The overall feel of this restaurant is that they should be in a large city somewhere, however, I'm ecstatic that it isn't, and fairly accessible to us.
I have no constructive criticism which means they really have for their act together, so a hearty well done to the team. Top marks

What a diamond in the rough. Who would expect to find a restaurant of this quality tucked away in the quiet town of Tusson!
Excellent presentation, balancing of flavours and an impressive wine list.
Worth going to Tusson just to eat here. (There are a couple of Chambre D'Hote in the town...see my Review on Maison Dix)

Absolutely fantastic meal last night, great wine and food with exceptional service.

We've eaten here a few times over the last few years and honestly it's just getting better and better.
We had a great lunch today, everything was perfect!
The set lunch is good value for money and we live that you can add extra things that used to be on the à la carte menu only.

Ate lunch in Le Jardin across the road (not sure if this is a regular relocation or one off). Beautiful setting. Excellent service. Pate starter nothing special but still good. Duck burger with foie gras sauce was out of this world. Smoked fish salad was delicious. And homemade apricot profiterole was superb. Expensive, but well worth it.

Set in a beautifully renovated barn, this small, family run business provides the diner with an intimate setting, delicious, innovative menus and wine selected by a professional sommelier. A must if you want a special meal...and remember to book in advance.

We had one of our most memorable lunches here last week. The bistrot is so friendly, comfortable and charming and the food is simply delicious. Fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection and beautifully served. I recommend the chocolate soupe which quite honestly is so special and delicious your face will light up with joy!

Had lunch with 2 guests after a trip out. Good food and a lovely atmosphere. We will be returning.

This is a fantastic restaurant, I have been here a few times. The village is beautiful and the restaurant fits in here perfectly. You know that you're in for something special when you are seated and reading the menu. Excellent food and quality service. This all comes at a price but it is still good value. If you are in the are and want a treat this is where to find it.
