Polar Bear Pub

Gass fires outside with nice seats, and warm gas fire inside with lots of seat upstairs and down. Great place to apres after Umbrella closes or for a bit more chill time.

Very much a Pub and all the better for it- you don’t get food here. Not exactly sure if there’s a theme it may be Irish/British but it doesn’t really matter- it’s very much international.
Very nice staff and a good place for a pint of Guiness at the end of the day.
I do think the gas flames on outside tables are a bit wasteful though

Great friendly bar staff. Well priced drinks (especially wine). Allows you take outside food in which is a massive bonus (try La Pizzeria or the cheese shop on the main street which does takeaway tartiflette).

The polar bear pub very quickly became our go to bar in Les Deux Alpes, with it’s quirky indoor and outdoor fires which were very welcome as the temp dropped in the evenings after a day on the slopes, friendly staff and a great music playlist made it our fave place to end our day

Watched Rugby here. Good crowd. Good TVs. Nice upstairs. Great beer. Hanging fireplace in downstairs bar.

A busy pub with a good atmosphere. Prices are in line with the rest of the resort (€8 for a 'pint'). Worth a visit at the start of a night out I reckon

The bar has a really nice atmosphere, the beers are exeptional and the bartenders are really nice, especially Viki

What a bar.. and the owners have the best dog. Every table has its own heater and the prices are reasonable

Visited here in both winter and summer, super relaxed and ace selection of drinks. And a resident dog every now and then! Great outdoorsy videos on the TVs too. Would definitely recommend

My first visit to The Polar Bear Pub was in january 2010, in my first day ever in Les 2 Alpes. I loved the feeling I had there so much that I came back every night that week and evry night in the next years I spent my ski Holiday in L2A. I became friends with Paul, Warren and other members of the staff. Returning there is my favourite part of the L2A experience. In time, the place grew, became even more friendly. I just love the place. Always wainting for my next visit!

Very cute outside set up with wood carved tables and gas fires! We went 3 times and had quick friendly service at the bar despite it being fairly small and busy.
