***HIGHLY recommended *** the service was at its best and the food was delicious and the quality was great. We were heading back to home from CDG and had a pit stop at this place. Truly loved it we had bœuf bourguignon and they have amazing wines.

Its fab! A lovely couple been here for 25years. We visited lunchtime 20/7/22 36€ with cheese or 32€ without. A la carte 56€ £52€
Its on a main road to Avallon but the outside is so pretty you don't notice the road. Not much parking so be careful.

Charming interior. Warm reception and service. The food was lovely. 3 hours of pleasure.

It was a blast! We had such a fine dining and nice experience in the little roadside burgundy-style auberge. The Michelin “bip” for their 37€/4 courses menu is totally worth it. Services and the chef are extremely kind, which is a plus! Should go there without any doubt

If I could give more stars I would. The food was amazing, the atmosphere ideal, and the service very friendly. A meal and experience to always remember.

It looks a bit posh to be honest.
But the quality of the food, matched with the excellent service and the honesty of the presentation and style enabled me to impress my mother in law immensely.
It's a definite " romantic evening out" or it would have been if the mother in law hadn't invited herself!

We happened upon this delightful restaurant one evening and wow, are we glad we did! The food was stunningly good. We went for the 29EUR set menu and between us had both the meat and fish options. Everything we ate was excellent. The service was very good, as was the general ambience and decor. If we are back in the region we will absolute be back! Thanks for a great evening.

Remarkable place. The owner served all the tables herself when we were there and she did it with such grace and thoughtfulness. The room is delightful and comfortable, the food is exquisitely cooked and served. We chose the 29€ menu and were amazed to receive home made savouries and amuse-bouche beforehand and then homemade petit fours afterwards. It’s not by any means a cheap restaurant but considering the quality of everything you receive here, it’s a bargain.

Don't be fooled by the "side of the road" eatery look of this Restauant. It is a high class, well run eatery serving very high quality food and wine with the excellent service one would expect in Burgundy.
We stopped for lunch and although a little more than our budget would normally allow, the ambiance and sense of decorum encouraged us to stay.

MAGNIFIQUE!!! The most wonderful lobster medallions! Best cote de boeuf I've ever had. 10/10

We drove 1400 km for this gastronomic experience! Well worth the effort.

Cela faisait 8 ans que nous n avions pas manger à l'auberge.
Cadre toujours aussi chaleureux, dîner à côté de la cheminée.
La cuisine est toujours aussi raffinée et délicieuse, les plats parfaitement présentés.
Le service est parfait, discret et convivial.
Nous avons trouvé très agréable de pouvoir discuter avec le chef à la fin du repas.
À refaire avant 8 ans.

Si la présence du radar automatique juste en face invite déjà à ralentir, s'arrêter ici permet de passer un agréable moment !!! Le cadre de la salle est chaleureux avec un feu dans une cheminée ouverte, des tables bien dressées et espacées, belle déco.
Côté cuisine les plats sont joliment dressés dans une belle vaisselle, le tout est raffiné et très bon.
Service aux petits soins par la patronne très agréable.
Nous avons passé un agréable moment et reviendrons sans hésiter.

Une des meilleures tables que nous avons eu l’occasion de tester dans l’Avallonnais. Tout est absolument délicieux, préparé avec goût et savoir-faire avec des produits frais. Le service est irréprochable, l’ambiance est chaleureuse. Nous reviendrons!

Escargots excellents très moelleux et très gouteux, langoustines beaucoup moins interressantes, viande excellente mais de portions plutôt modestes ... poisson peu savoureux, fromage bon mais servis en potion congrue, soufflés au grand marnier formidable en parfums et de superbe présentation.
Bref c'était bien mais franchement mieux et plus copieux l'année dernière !
