Lovely dining experience. The food was excellently prepared, and we were spoiled with lots of extra homemade treats at the end of the meal (pate de fruit maison, mini meringues, homemade caramels). We enjoyed our meals and would recommend a stop here when in Avallon.

Excellent, just walk that extra 100 yards through the gate. Well worth it.

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Avallon where it is situated directly next to the church. Uppon entrance you're suprised with the vivid modern interior within the medieval frame. The decor illustrates the restaurant perfectly: traditional and local dishes with a modern twist. The waiters are skilled, friendly/informal, and attentive. The guests a nice mixture of locals and some tourists, and all age groups. We enjoyed the escargots, beautiful quality and well portioned foie gras (tip: choose the half portion), risotto with morilles, perfectly made veal, a caramel tarte tatin and a classical lava chocolate pie (moelleux au chocolat). With help of the waiter we chose a biologocal wine from the region (Fixin of Domaine du Vieux Collége) which made our evening complete.

Absolutely the best.. great service , great atmosphere, and the food, omg the food is so good. I don't think they know what they have.

We had a wonderfully ambiant evening with delicious food and a knowledgeable wine waiter . Definitely one to visit.

Excellent restaurant sur Avallon, Sylvain en cuisine fait des merveilles malgré la désertion de son chef.
Plats, présentation, service et salle sont d'un très bon niveau. La carte variée enchantera vos papilles.
Oubliez la grand place du centre ville et venez vous régaler ici.

Un excellent moment en famille ; autant au niveau culinaire que de l’accueil et du service. Bravo pour cette cuisine raffinée et ce mélange des saveurs ; c’est aussi beau dans l’assiette qu’aussi bon dans la bouche.
