Having read the reviews we decided to have a meal here.
We had a beautifully cooked omelette, salad and chips. There was plenty of it and a very reasonable price.
The staff were friendly and it had a good atmosphere.

Delicious food! Good portions and very welcoming. We had 3 children with us and 4 adults, food is nice and fresh! Happy. Omelette and salads were perfect

Moules Frites excellent massive portion, service excellent. Really friendly place, will definitely call again if in Calais.

We arrived on a very busy night but the service was quick and prompt. My favourite waiter was back after a long hiatus ☺.

The food was delicious, and my Greek salad was very filling and tasty.

Nicely decorated little French restaurant, full of local french people, priced reasonably (e.g. 12 euros for a steak and chips), menu has a bit of english to help, staff are quick and experienced (doesn't even need to write down the orders) and speaks perfect English, food was excellent, all freshly sourced and cooked (even down to the chips and sauce), no frozen or microwave stuff here

We love this place & they serve food all day long
we arrived after visiting Lace special exibition museum well after 4pm
I had baked cheese fondue & Gary had toasted bread with Ham & cheese
We had a Coffee with mini puddings which were bursting with flavour

Really lovely cafe, beyond what I expected when I went to walk in!
Very friendly staff, always someone who could speak good English too (apologies for my lack of French)

The only way I can describe it is it's got that Hygge feeling 🥰🥰

This was the very end of my epic two-week plus cycling down mountains trip. Quick pedal around Calais and lunch before tunnel home.
More locals than tourists on Monday lunchtime, including the odd lady who hates the pigeons.
I had House omelette, it was fantastic.

Great experience for an English family. Lots of nice dishes and options for the kids. The chips are very high quality. Plus, it doesn't shut at 2pm like other places on the square

Nice Pub, good furnishing, well decorated, nice outside area for smokers. Friendly and helpful staff who worked quickly and correctly. Ham and chips, good portion of ham, well grilled, well fried chips not fatty. Good sized side salat, well seasoned. Cheese omlet, tasty good cheese, well cooked. Fair prices. Good coffee next morning. Thank you all for the service. 🙂🙂🙂

Good food, reasonably priced and generous portions always go for lunch when going to France and before the crossing on the way back. Can recommend the moules.👍

We visited here on our way back to UK, we both chose the "welsh" dish, I must say it was delicious, we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Very reasonably priced as well. Would visit again if in Calais

A lovely friendly place with good food and accommodating staff- we turned up without a reservation and it was busy but they found room for us… the moules frites was delicious and good sized portions… very reasonable price

Good service and tasty food

Really enjoyed the food and staff were very friendly. We sat outside but my daughters were shivering so they kindly set us up with a table inside even though they were fully booked. Exactly what we wanted as our last meal before the ferry.
