Lovely friendly staff & fantastic chèvre au miel salade & moules Calise! Frites we’re fantastic & plentiful…filling portions. Definitely recommend! Delicious! Great beers on tap & wine, too.

Excellent variety of cold you hors d'oeuvre always a heavily laden table. Food is fresh and well cooked. Good value for the money and a welcome treat for the weary traveller.

Superb. The food was great. The wine was good.staff are great. Been numerous times before and it is still great. The jacquard to salad is so nice. I really enjoyed it. Hubby had the musse.

This place cheered me no end. Fantastic atmosphere, proper good french food, excellent beers on draft and good wine in the carafe. Fast efficient service for locals and tourists and reasonably priced. If I'm ever stuck in Calais again I'm definitely going back.

Visited to get some mussels north-French style and got precisely what we asked for. Also great wine and atmosphere. One of the very few places open in the center of Calais on a random day.

Apart from mussels the place also serves meat and salads. Very lively until late hours. Totally worth.

Lovely little cafe/bar near the main town. Friendly staff, good food and well priced. Nice back garden area too.

Fabulous! We love this place. Really tasty food and a relaxing atmosphere. Be sure to try the Moules Du Chef (mussels served in white wine, cream and garlic) it's the best I've tasted anywhere. They also have a wide selection of Belgian beers which keeps me happy whilst the wife is shopping in the high street. There are fabulous desserts on offer too. The service is really quick and staff are friendly. Whilst I like to try out my 'o' level French, the friendly staff are very helpful and happy to speak English. The menu is in both English and French. Eating out in France can be expensive but this is a very reasonably priced restaurant. We never visit Calais without coming here.

We always eat at Au Calice if we can when visiting Calais. Food is really good, staff friendly and lovely atmosphere. Sadly no moules at last visit 😔

Excellent food. Very special french fries. I dont know if I loved them or not. Beautiful authentic pub. Highly recomend it.
