Lovely Swiss restaurant.
My son and I dined in this family restaurant although for a more intimate experience you could dine outside.
The food is amazing and the price is very reasonable.
Highly recommend and happy to return.

My husband and I are on our honeymoon, and we were looking for somewhere with local wine and lunch. Caveau des Vignerons was exactly what we were looking for! We had the Rosti (our first time!) and it came with a plate of delicious meats and some pearl onions/pickles. We split a bottle of local wine, which was fabulous. Our waiter (possibly the owner?) was friendly and a delight to make small talk with, even though our French isn't the best. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!

We stumbled upon this stunning restaurant whilst looking for an evening meal. The owner, who was multi-lingual, was very welcoming and dealt with our strange eating habits very well. He took the time to explain how the system worked offering advice on mix and matching. We opted for the traditional fondue, with rosti and croute. All three were delicious. For dessert, two of us opted for the creme brûlée and one opted for the chocolate fondue. Again all were delicious. The owner’s wife then brought out a selection of fruit teas so that I could choose which one I wanted. The tea itself was served in a teapot which was most welcome. Thank you to both the owner and his wife for their superb hospitality.

The interior of the restaurant itself was warm and homely giving a traditional ‘Swiss’ feel to it.

All in all, a little gem.

I really like the fondue at this restaurant. Even though it was simple enough to be served with just potatoes and bread, the flavor was mild and delicious. I think this flavor might suit most people. The chocolate fondue is also a favorite of mine. The recommended vin blanc was also my flavor. Highly recommended!

Very yummy! I had the rosti and my wife had the croute. Both very delicious but the rosti had a slight edge. The eggs looks super fresh and the whole experience was great! Our waitress spoke English and French so the entire experience was very good! Would come back again!

It is a really great cozy place with very friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing, I have tried the cheese fondue and beef filet. Both were amazing. For desserts I tried the creme brulee and meringues with double cream from Gruyère, they were amazing.

A piece of Switzerland magic. Some reviews were not too friendly but the food comments were great. It seemed like a cold welcome but it warmed quickly and the food was fantastic. Traditional Rosti was brilliant and the good lady enjoyed the Chocolate Fondue on her own. Well worth a visit!!

Delicious fondue - best we had in Montreux. Great wine, amazing limoncello, friendly staff and fair prices. What more could one ask for?

The atmosphere was extremely nice, and unlike in other restaurants (Le Metropole, as the best example) we had a stress-free evening surrounded by warm and cozy Swiss interior design.

Will definitely come back.

Cute restaurant in the center of Montreaux to have Swiss specialities like fondue, rosti etc. We had the tomato fondue - a tasty variation of the traditional one. It was served with bread and potatoes. Also had a traditional Rosti. The owner offered to make this with Raclette cheese and we loved it! He also asked us if we tried fondue before, when we said yes, he cheekily replied: "now try it here"... I liked his confidence 😀 and indeed the cheese was very tasty and better than few other places we tried. Water was served for free! When we were leaving, we said bye and he responded: "bye, see you tomorrow" 😅

This excellent small restaurant is in old town Montreux. We arrived after our visit to the Chillon Castle in the middle of the afternoon and were famished. Luckily for us, they serve traditional Swiss fare all day and the food was fantastic. I had the rosti with mushroom sauce and my wife had the entrecote parisienne, both were delicious. The service was also fantastic, with a very pleasant and helpful person taking care of us.

We had the fondue, with rösti and green salad. One of the tastiest fondues that I have had.

The first restaurant we tried in Switzerland. Also the best fondue we had while traveling. They introduced us to Feldschlösschen, the best beer I've had in a long time.

The best traditional fondue in Montreux! Cute and little chalet run by friendly owners. Don't miss out on their amazing rosti!

Quiet and friendly, family run restaurant. Very friendly staff who were multi-lingual and helpful with menu choices. Everything in Montreux is expensive, but the food here was well priced for the area. Had rostis and croute mains and chocolate fondue, creme brulee and meringue desserts and all were freshly made and delicious. Worth the stroll up the hill!
