Café Le Mirador

A very nice place to eat with friendly staff who, although spoke English, were very happy to allow me to try and speak/learn French which is probably annoying for them but a great help to me!
The food served was excellent as were the prices which I thought was very reasonable
Recommended place to eat in my humble opinion 😁

Had the le Welsh burger and the full le Welsh. They didn’t disappoint. Absolutely delicious. Cheese was amazing, the meat in the burger great quality and chips delicious.

Had desserts, a few drinks too and thought it was a great price. Would definitely recommend. Loved it.

We had a great service and evening overall.
The Onion Soup was really nice and the extra cheese and croutons are a nice little touch.
Poutine was very good; having tried poutine in Montreal and Quebec before, this one is excellent.
The poultry dish with mushrooms was outstanding.
Definitely coming back in the future!

Whilst in Calais we went in search of breakfast. We found the Cafe Le Mirador just as it was Opening. I had a great freshly made croque monsieur, just the way I like it crunchy with a great topping, my husband had the eggs breakfast. We both had a super meal in a great restaurant. Recommended to any one looking for good food and drink. Thank you Cafe Le Mirador. Top place to eat.

Just popped in for a coffee and then had a croque monsieur which was absolutely delicious. Service was so friendly too.

What a fantastic place. Service was incredible and the owner so kind. I highly recommend it. Food was exceptional and they have local artists on the wall. A real gem.

First time coming to Café Le Mirador and we will for sure be returning! After a long day of travelling we happened to stumble across this beautiful place and thank goodness we did! I could not fault one thing and if anything this place made our whole trip worth it, the atmosphere is so inviting, the service is amazing and the fresh food is absolutely delicious! As soon as we are back in Calais this will be our first stop. Thank you for a great dining experience

Whenever in Calais we always have a meal here.
It has always been a friendly place with good food and remains so even after changing ownership.

Lovely food and friendly service, I'm vegetarian and my husband is a devoted carnivore so finding places that make us both happy can be challenging. With a tasty omelette for me and well seasoned steak tartare for him, we were both happy.

Have been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years, have always had the best French onion soup ever. Great value for money, never disappointed. We will be there again in July this year

We were really impressed with the food and the staff were excellent and a good laugh. Worth a visit.

The pasta and burger were well made. I also really liked the fries that came with the burger. I’m happy to have found this place.
