Nice place in the middle of town. Easy access and dogs are welcome. The food and service are professional and friendly. No table reservation just turn up and drink or dine. Nice vibe, I'd recommend it...

Le Pontie is an Albi institution, and is reliable for what it offers.
Well situated on the corner you can enjoy the inside space, or the terrace outside when the weather is nice. Service can be plodding and slow, but I was very happy on the two occasions I dined here for a waiter who was pleasant and happy to speak in English. There are a few vegetarian options and the "sides" offer a decent selection when you are hungry. Heartily recommend the experience, while noting that it is not inexpensive.

Came here for an afternoon drink. We had a lovely rose. The waiter was very nice and spoke excellent English. We looked at the evening menu and asked our waiter for his opinion of the lamb. He said it was very good. We came back tonight and had the lamb for 2. It was fantastic!!! The staff is terrific and the lamb and wine are as good as anywhere in France. 👍🏻

The food portions were substantial,the service by the waiter in the Trilby outstanding, I had Foie Gras, if was superb, the brioche and the peaches balanced it perfectly and the suggested sweet wine added a little more, then to be followed by the best cooked Tuna I have ever eaten, the accompanying spices and sauce was unbelievably tasty, and all I had with it was mashed potatoes but what a perfect match. All thus with a recommended wine of the region. What made it more special was that we were sitting upstairs effectively on a bridge over the entrance watching the comings and the goings together with a view of the expertise of the cocktail barmn. Set menu (3-4 choices per course) was fantastic and great value for money! Will return when next in Albi!

Je ne comprends pas les mauvais commentaires, nous avons super bien mangé deux beaux tartares, la viande était fraîche, goûtu, très bon rien a dire !
Les serveurs sont également très gentils.

Super brasserie, avec des plats faits maison très goûteux, dans une ambiance néo rétro décorée avec goût. Et le service est fantastique !
Idéal pour se mettre au chaud en hiver, ou profiter de la belle terrasse l'été

On a déjeuné ce midi au Pontier en terrasse au soleil, notre serveur était très agréable et très efficace, on a bien mangé, mon tartare était parfaitement assaisonné et les frites sont très bien cuites et surtout pas grasses.

Le Pontie était mon repère, ma cantine, pendant l'année où j'ai vécu à Albi. C'était l'endroit qui égayait toujours mon humeur. Avec mon groupe d'amis, nous y allions régulièrement chaque jeudi pour prendre un verre de vin. Jean-François Miquel, le propriétaire, nous gâtait toujours, que ce soit avec des délices ou une bouteille de champagne. Le personnel était tout simplement incroyable. Si jamais vous vous trouvez là-bas, rendez-vous un jeudi à 19h, demandez la table de Mona et savourez votre verre de vin. Santé ! 🥂
