Le Vintage

We ducked in to Le Vintage for lunch on a Monday (Monday!) when so many places are closed and it was pouring rain. We were welcomed warmly by the hostess as the restaurant was buzzing. The food was outstanding - and such a great value. Service was incredible! Patient and kind. We dined just before the lunch to dinner break and the staff allowed us to linger over desserts and have a beautiful experience. The food was exceptionally fresh and beautifully prepared - I wish we’d stopped in sooner. The kids have already asked to return!

Lovely bistro just off the main strip in the center of Avignon. Food was very good, service friendly and English spoken fluently. I sat outside and really enjoyed the street seating. I had three courses and all were of a high standard. This is not ‘fancy’ food but rather good food done well.

Fun, buzzy place! We had the fish and the steak frites. Perfect. Too much wine! Fun evening!

Very good experience overall. However, we were charged for 2 x 30 euros ( for entree + plat + dessert) when only my wife had the all 3 combo but I only had the plat & dessert combo (which should have been 26 euros.) I am sure it was an honest mistake. Bonus that our waitress speaks English.

We received a recommendation from our hotel check in staff to dine here. Was full the first night we tried so booked for another evening. This place has a fantastic atmosphere with helpful and experienced staff who made sure we had a lovely evening. The food was excellent, well cooked and well presented with a really comprehensive selection of wines. I feel this restaurant offers a great combination and is very good value for money. Would highly recommend a visit.

It was completely full but got last minute table by chance. Ordered the lamb and it was excellent. The staff here is very energetic and helpful. Ines took great care of us and her suggestions worked the best. I would recommend going to this restaurant at least once for sure.

The food we ordered were great and the desserts were amazing. I wish I saved some room for dessert. Overall the experience at that place was great. Highly recommended!

The pork check main course is excellent and the meat is very tender. The steak and fries were average. It’s a decent steak but very chewy. Chocolate mouse is excellent

A great find in Avignon. Set menu with seasonal ingredients and stunning food. The waiter seemed a little disinterested, but other than that, really couldn't fault it!!

We visited mid November, busy compared to other places and this gave the place a lovely atmosphere.
The food was perfect and the service was very friendly and fast.
Recommend the camenbert... delicious 😊
We had a couple of Beaujolais ( it was Beaujolais day and the new wines had arrived)

Great little restaurant with lots of options for both French food and French wine. The staff are very nice, know english, and ran the place very efficiently.

Great restaurant in Avignon with both indoor and outdoor seatings. Food menu is limited to a few items, but every single item is perfected and delcious. Highly recommended.

Good service. Taking order, serving food, paying bill, everything is fast. Friendly and attentive waiters. The waiter changed my empty water jug for me without me having to ask.

Delicious meal. Nice bread. Very tasty beef tartare and the french fries are still warm and smells really good.

Entré and plat for just 18 euros! I can say that the quality and quantity of food worth a lot more than this.

We had dinner here on our first night in Avignon. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was beautifully presented and tasted great. We had Le crumble d’agneau (lamb crumble) and Tartare de bœuf à la provençale (beef tartar) and they became our instant favourites :) Highly recommend

Good food in the city center. The service is nice even if the waiters don't speak English. Not an expensive restaurant: a menu of two courses costs 18€ while a three courses one is 22€. Also the desserts are good but not exceptional

The best food we’ve tasted for a really long time. Perfectly prepared food and very helpful personal. We had summer plate, lamb crumble which was awesome. But the antre cote was unbelievable. Definitely will visit again and strongly recommended. The prices are more than reasonable.
