National Estate of Marly

Beautiful park near the centre of Marly. Ideal for a long walk or a run

A peaceful excellent park.
Very wide and good for taking a walk.
Ideal for the children and dog walking.

Such a lovely place and so close to Versailles.. the architecture of the gardens is similar however whats interesting is that the building of the chateau (which doesnt exist anymore) is hidden by the forest. In Versailles its the opposite🙂. I loved the sculptures in the garden..

A place to recharge your batteries! I took a long walk admiring the old trees and the clear water of the lake while listening the birds chirping

Grand park, great for jogging. Nicely maintained with parking and a small museum next to it.

Very nice place, even crowded on Sunday sunny afternoon, a lot of walks eventually out of the National estate of Marly-le-Roi.

An outstanding estate

It was first a hunting lodge, then a seat of power, and finally, from the 19th century onwards, a museum. Composed of the Palace, the gardens, the Park, the Trianon estate and several buildings in town, today the Estate of Versailles spreads over more than 800 hectares.

Fantastic... I think it's pretty underrated, the quarter (Marly le roi) itself is also an interesting place to explore.

Beautiful park with large areas in the open or under super old trees. Perfect for kids to run around and play or ride their bicycle. Dog friendly is a plus.

It's such a beautiful park, an amazingly huge green space with quite a lovely artificial lake. There are ducks but also lots of other birds that play in the water or in the air. Very nice.

Beautifully groomed park with great alleys around the pond but also nice little trails in the forest parts. Great for walking your dog or going for a run or just a leisurely stroll.

My kids love that there was once a pretty castle on this exacr spot (that'sthe outline over there). They love they can still walk on its foundation. Full of history

Lovely place to come and relax and have a picnic. Me and the wifey enjoyed it here. A park worth coming and good for the children.

What a beautiful estate. So much to see and enjoy. The whole Marly le Roi town is worth a visit. See where the "machine of Marly" was that provided huge amounts of water from the Seine for the fountains and pools. Enjoy the trees, the conical yew trees, see where Sisley, Pizarro and Renoir painted some of their beautiful paintings with the reproductions on boards where the artists actually stood. Go prepared to walk a few miles.

An exquisite park, with no tourists and touches of the Roman period. Rustic & breath taking- better than Versailles palace.

Nice estate, great place for a picnic, a walk or just have fun in the park.
