Pidou is a great place to buy cheap French wines and some household goods

Wide range of wines at good prices. Extended opening hours. Easy access from motorway, close ti tunnel and ferry. Sufficient parking available. Excellent service - they even sorted out the tax rebate quickly for us.

This is the place to find some amazing wines!

Good prices, nice selection of beer and wine plus boxed wines (easier to transport) just a few meters from J48, plenty of parking, staff great, loyalty card (we got a free bottle of wine plus points), also if you subscribe to email they will send you offers e.g. spend €250. and get a free ferry crossing (order and pay in advance then just pick your goods up when you come over), and don't forget to get you tax refund (TVA 20%) when traveling back to UK.

We bought some wine here for our wedding on France. We pre ordered it online and they had it ready for us on our arrival.

If you are driver Truck and need small shopping it’s ok
The price is little bigger then normal discount like lidl Aldi but u can find everything what needs.
Disadvantage is many foreigners trying to get inside you trailer, though secure by French police

Fantastic wine shop, every time we go to France we always go there on the way home, great selection, great price and great staff.

Always use to go to other wines stores in the local area but Pidou seem in the last few years always got a great selection of wine and more beer than other stores.

Prices are great, with some bottles being much cheaper than other stores - others being about the same.

Staff seemed friendly and just leave you to browse in your own time.

Only negative is a other stores offer a tasting section to allow you try before you buy. This would be a nice addition.

Amazing amazing and amazing. Lots to ponder and chose. Obviously the wine is hugely cheaper than UK prices whereas other items costly. We buy J P Cheney for £2 a bottle!. Other choices available in wine and perhaps if you are buying for a party then the cost here against UK prices will certainly be cheaper plus it may pay for your trip over and more.

This place sells wine at fantastic prices. Not just budget unknown mystery wine, but proper well known brands such as boxes of 6 bottles of J.P. Chenin for £12! Incredible value. And they do grapes you don't see in the UK. Also sell spirits and liqueurs cheap. If you buy your year's worth of wine in one visit its well worth it. Also chocs and snacks. And no one tries to fleece you. Coffee for a single Euro at the snack bar.

Staff are helpful and there Is always a staff member that speaks very good English.
They have lots of special offers and also sell a small range of food and toiletries.
You can get a coffee from the coffee machine and they have toilets.
Well located for ferry port easy to fill up with wine before you return home from France.
