Kuriftu Resort & Spa Bishoftu

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Kuriftu resort and spa and it was truly an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and friendly staff.
The resort itself was luxurious and well-maintained with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and ocean. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the necessary amenities.
The food at the resort's restaurant was also exceptional with a wide variety of delicious options.
Overall, my stay at Kuriftu resort and spa was unforgettable and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing vacation.

Nice water park 🏞 family friendly and very helpful staff, make sure to bring your swimming suits as stores are a bit pricey

Me and my family stayed for 3 nights. We had a really good time. My kids (5&2) had so much fun. We enjoyed the water park, the swimming pool, kayaking, camp fire as well. The view was amazing. I even had me time and enjoyed the sauna and steam. Everything was beyond my expectations, I had my fears reading some bad reviews and I wasn't sure what to expect. The only comment I had is regarding the food, the food was not bad. But it should have been great with lots of options since it is a 4 star hotel. In general I was not happy with the food at all.
I would like to thank some staffs; Special thanks to Samrawit (water park restaurant), Nathanael ( restaurant) and Beti ( House keeping head) for their support and understanding since traveling with kids is difficult.
I would definitely go again. I would recommend the room that has the lake view and to book massage or sauna ahead of time and to ask for anything you need.

I had an incredible stay. The first room I had there was disturbance from another room as the rooms are right next to each other. The hotel was kind enough to move me to a more quite area. The food is lovely, the staff is very kind.

This is a beautiful water park with plenty of activities and fun to have. I would recommend anyone who visits Ethiopia to go here. Kids and adults can have equal fun at Kuriftu.

Positive:
. Welcome drink just when you arrive and later again from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
. Many options of ATM machies & POS machines.
. The staffs are very friendly and glad to assist you.
. Nice garden, amazing view, well designed and very natural.
. Large and safe car parking area.
. Tasty foods with nice service.
. Recommended for family and also for romantic memorable time for couples.
. Full package facilities; room, restaurants, campfire, canoeing (narrow boat riding), steam, sauna, body massage, water park, garden and lake.

Negative:
. Very less safety measurements at the canoeing (narrow boat riding). I saw that even very small kids with one of their relatives are left alone riding to a very far area from the single life guard. They have a safety swimming vest but, cannot relay on it. There should be many life guards on the lake sides or there should be a riding area limit which is near to the life guard.

We visited the resort for a short period of time. The package we had for a 1005ETB included food (main dish +starter+desert) plus a 25% discount on massage services. The place is clean, spacy next to a lake with the possibility of a boat service. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there was no grass area or some allocated area for a smaller kids to run around and have fun..

This resort are amazing. Many things, but my top 3 are 1) Kayak in the lake. 2) coffee ceremony in the restaurant and drink local beer there. 3) Spend comfortable night in the cottage. Two advices, better to keep mosquito spray and reserve massage in advance.

Good for family, and couples, by 10 dollar they give you lunch, and SPA and teckts to lack boot

We got the day package and enjoyed kayaking, spa and buffet. A nice relaxing day outside of the city.

Amazing to have alone time, Business conferences, and family vacations.

I am very delighted to visit stayed at Kuriftu, the location, service and food.

Perfect resort! Spent 3 days over there with a big group of colleagues. Rooms: amazing villas with African decoration, spacious private big balcony with great view to the lake. Restaurant: The food was perfect and very tasty. Especially the night buffet was excellent including the live music and the perfect location next to the lake. Especially the meat was delicious and highly recommended. The spa was excellent as well and the atmosphere was really relaxing. having early breakfast in the restaurant by the lake was like a dream. The service overall was super helpful and maybe among the best we ever had.

By far the best and biggest resort in whole of East Africa. 170.000 square meters!!!! Super friendly staff, and the friendliness comes from their heart, not because they are instructed to be friendly, the quality of the food in the restaurants is superb. Rooms are high quality. This resort paid attention to all small details, even in Europe/USA it is going to be very difficult finding a resort of same size/quality

It is a little bit crowded place, long lines for some plays but still worth going. Tennis and table pool are available for parents who don’t want to or can’t play the water slides

Oh my oh my... I thought Addis was a blissful place to be in, I have been proven wrong. You need peace of mind, Kuriftu resort is 100% the solution! The birds singing is your alarm! The ducks sound is your laughter, the Kayaking is your relaxing moment and best if all the Spa is your soul searching place. I am glad I had this beautiful place to go to when and if I ever get tired of all the noise in Addis!
