Mekele University had been one of the best universities in Ethiopia.established in the year 2000 and had over 30000 students. At this moment it is not fully functional because of war.I hope it will regain its potential to produce proffessionals that will help thr country and the eorld as a whole.

One of the very top and senior universities in Ethiopia, Mekelle university has been named the Best University both in Ethiopia and Africa.

The university teaches all deciplines at all levels, diploma to the highest level of professorship.

This campus of the university, usually referred to as Arid, derived from its initial setup as Agricultural College for Arid lands, it has now Ethipian Institute of Technology (Mekelle), Adi Haki Business compus, Ayder Hospital Medical compus, Kellamino Veterinary compus, Quiha Engineering compus and MIT Aynalem compus under it.

While delivering high end academic instruction, the university provides well tailored R&D, community services and international exchange services.

I did my bachelors degree in Mekelle University Adi Haki campus. It is one of the best universities in the country.

The university is Tigray's center of excellence (the northern pride). MU Academic, Research and Community service work are top-notch. It was shining & will continue to do so.

This is Aklilu Maru i was Mekelle university Student since 2007 - 2009. i attended for three years in Adi-Haki campus which is Business Education Emphasis of Information Technology. i graduated on July 18, 2009. What i am asking right now i am living in North America which is the best state of Californian so do you know how to get an official Transcript. I have a prof of documents that i just payed cost sharing when i was Ethiopia. Is there any one who is willing to help me and to figure out for further process for Admission and record office in Adi-Haki Collage. Or is there any way to contact admission and record office. MIT and AYDER are the center of excellence in their respective Fields. but the rest are center of ሽምደዳ.
