Have gone there thrice. Great food each time. Must try the tibs and salad platter. The customer service is quite prompt even during busy times. The most memorable was the live performance evening. Must see the top local artists/celebrities perform with great enthusiasm and vigor. They get the audience involved and the whole atmosphere is awesome.

Amazing food bet traditional dancing

Other than the fact that there was no toilet papers in the toilet all was great. Attentive waiters, amazing food, good ambiance.

Best place to See Tigray Ethiopian , i. realy love it

This is the best Ethiopian restaurant in Mekele. The food is awesome and they have a great variety of Ethiopian food. The service is great and it is priced reasonably. The restaurant is very large, decorated very well, and can accomodate couples or groups of all sizes. On Thursdays they have musicians and dancers in the evening. Geza Gerlase is the perfect place to bring out of town visitors.

If u came to Mekele you must visit this place. For me it's even the best from Ethiopia.

Good local food with good atmosphere

Very nice place for traditional foods especially roasted beef roasted lamb and vegetarian options. It has cultural bands play at weekends. People from Mekelle and all of Tigray enjoy in Mekelle at night. Customers dance joining the band. It is wonderful place.

My favourite place to be.

Very nice ambience with good live music (not too loud). Full of local people. Very good and fresh meat (butcher inside) and salad. Friendly service.

If you are in Mekelle and need to go to traditional food, with Nice roasted fish, the moat delicious roasted beef "Tibs" enjoying traditional songs and dances, this is the place you must go, ohh If you are in to Salad yummy . . . . . You need to eat healthy food, relax with traditional song and dance .

If your a tourist, you should go one.
