A visitor to the World Heritage Simien Mountain National Park is missing out if he doesn't spend at least one day at Sankaber Camp.
Sankaber is the first campsite on most Simien treks, and is a wonderful introduction to the park but also a place to see the landscape, rare wildlife and flora.

The home of endemic animals, wonderful landscape, great historical sites, beautiful waterfalls and I love the people around the mountain.
