Alongside groceries all sorts of toiletries and cosmetics are sold here.
1 of the cosmetics I purchased is 3 times the prices on Amazon so bargains to be had .

We love Mecodonna supermarkets. Good choices at realistic prices. Polite and helpful staff.

Love the fresh meat fish veg section. Good quality and not expensive.

Price excellent, quality excellent. If you need a taxi ask at the till and they'll call one for you. No online shopping though which is really frustrating as the Mercadona app is great - they just dont deliver yet from this store if you are ordering online

Watch your time in there. It's a lovely store, before you know it your visit lasts over an hour. A the register you get a parking ticket for free departure. But that's for just one hour! Ask for an extra one, should you be in there longer. 😉

Mercadona is our family's favourite supermarket. Especially the one in Altea. It is known for introducing new products very often, you don't get bored of buying the same thing month over month. Lots of healthy choices! Excellent selection of fresh seafood and fish. Plus it has its own cheaper version of many products known as Hacendado. The store was closed for more than a month for reconstruction and it was terrible as no other supermarket fulfills our grocery shopping needs as Mercadona did. Finally it reopened and it has a modern new look to it and the best is that now ready made meals are offered here! This is absolutely cool!

Great grocery store with a good variety of products. Also has a mini bakery with freshed baked goods and a fish counter with fresh seafood. We always shop there when we are in Spain.
