Was quite a mission to drive there but worth every moment 🤩🏴??????📷 highly recommend a visit if you ever around the area. Ignore the anti tourist slogan on one of the doors on the street leading up to the church 😉

One of the most beautiful towns in the Costa Blanca. Just charming, beautiful and cozy. With great views to the sea and the mountains, good restaurants and bars.

Beautiful place, some great food and a lot of wonderful views

Altea is a small village, we loved it. Walking in those streets in route to the church on the top of the mountain. There are a lot of restaurants and “Terrazas” with some Mediterranean food! But even with the pandemic there were a lot of people, the centre historic is very touristic. I recommend parking in public garages.
Drink water in summer please!

Very beautiful and cosy

Pretty, clean, nice shops, nice bars, beautiful church. Great spot for a walk out for lunch from Altea or Albir

Altea pueblo. This stunning little assortment of boutiques & restaurants is set back from the front, up the hill, & around the blue tiled, bell topped, church. It has a wonderful "old town" feel with its narrow streets with white washed walls. A vast variety of clothes, jewellery and trinket shops sit alongside quality Italian, Indian & obviously Spanish restaurants not to mention the ice cream & cake parlours.
The views over Altea, Albir & Benidorm from 1 viewing area & Altea hills, Mascarat & Calpe from the other are simply spectacular. The church at the centre of everything is free to enter & beautiful inside.
If you get the chance to visit here when your in Benidorm then do it. You won't be disappointed.

The walk to the top of this hill is amazing thru small streets and corridors.

Absolutely not recommended for older people with weak legs, they should use the car.

Lovely place. Fantastic views and nice cafes

Really cozy location. A lot of good food in most restaurants. Parking is somewhat a Challange, but one good location is "Parking Foietes" just southwest.

Nice place to be. Cool shopping, cool food, nice view. A big recommendation!

Picturesque square in Altea. Spectacular views back across the bay to Benidorm with quaint little art and craft shops lining the streets. A real must see.
