This is our favourite place in Spain. We lived near Guadalest for a few months and frequented al Ras several times a week for coffee, and a few times for burgers. The burgers are incredible but the best part are the people. We've left Guadalest now but would return just to see Maria and her team at al Ras again, to soak up the fantastic atmosphere and dine on the best burgers on earth!!

You might think you’re ordering a normal burger here but beware… these burgers are possibly the best you have ever eaten.

Unpretentious presentation, the flavor does all the talking. The perfect balance of ingredients, the meat is juicy but not greasy, a perfect bun selection that doesn’t fall apart.

The Mexican burger was delightfully spicy and classic bacon burger was fantastic(the bacon has that perfect crispity crunch).

We chanced across this place luckily because it is truly world class. If you are in the area and feel like a burger, do yourself a favor and check this out.

Came across this little cafe by chance on our way up to castle/viewing points..what a find! We were so happy we picked here over the other cafes in the area, food was so so good. Fresh and super tasty which is rare enough in touristy places. We had a few tapas to share..homemade bravas (best I’ve ever had and we’ve tried a lot!), ham croquettes, fried chicken and some wine, all delicious! Service also very good and super friendly. (Dog friendly also, we sat outside with ours but we did see some dogs inside).

Best burger I have eaten since long! You notice that the chef is the owner and very dedicated not only to serve very good food, but also caring about the whole restaurant. Even the toilet is nice. The service is very friendly and attentive. Come early or with reservation. Enjoy the quite and cozy backyard.

Had a coffee and water. The waiter was super friendly. Nice area, in the back there are two tables to sit very nice.

Great place - really nice atmosphere in a beautiful location, friendly staff and genuinely some of the best food I’ve had in Spain! Phenomenal burgers, a real hidden gem. Highly recommend!
