Tapas Gastro Bar

I was surprised by how good the food was. I ate the tartar de atún, focaccia, lasagna, pizza and a tapa and everything was delicious. The staff were nice as well. Great atmosphere, as we sat outside and enjoyed the night.

Lovely restaurant, can’t fault the food we had pizzas, chicken, swordfish- all excellent. Super helpful staff. The atmosphere and location is wonderful too. Highly recommend!!!

We have had food here a few times now and it has always been amazing. I would highly recommend coming to try it. Everything we have tried has been spot on but the honey and goats cheese is the nicest thing I have ever had.

Definitely worth the walk up the hill to this refined, modern European style restaurant. Spanish tastes with continental flair.
Had the daily menu and it was delicious. The tiramisu dessert was as good as any.

An amazing experience in the old town with a wide range of dishes for all nationalities.

Waiters take special care with customers and make sure you are properly attended. For example, Borja always keeps an eye out for any extra inquiries and gave us pretty good reccomendations for other activities in the old town and wherabouts in the Marina Baixa!

Had a variety of tapas, and it went from one highlight to the other! Sitting outside in really nice surroundings. Staff was very helpful and service minded, and I will definitely come back and recommend it to friends and family!

Everything was very nice and tasty. The owner is helpfull and kind. The waiters work really hard to give you a great time and even though it was totally busy they took the time to have a little chat. We loved the tiger woods salad. Every time it has the same taste and quality. Keep it up!

We had lunch here and it was amazing! The staff were friendly, the food was excellent and the service was great and the prices were okay. We had calamares, croquetas & tuna tartar. We would come back if we were to visit Altea again. Thank you for the great experience!
