Small garden but a lovely place to relax and worth a visit if you’re nearby. It is free to enter.

"The Promise Of Silence" in the Botanic Garden in Bayonne. Lovely flowers to give pleasure to my eyes. A taste of nature with a wild touch.

This page proves that bigger isn't always better. A cute little botanical garden arranged in a Japanese style and with a mixture of European and Japanese plants. I particularly liked the pine trees which looked like huge bonsais and the small giant bamboo forest (two oxymorons in I've sentence..lol)

Small and cosy garden, with a remarkably rich variety of species for its size!
The Asian corner was my favourite, but I'm sure that in spring or summer the other areas would have stood out more.
Special mention to the exhibition area, also small but relevant and entertaining.

Nice little botanical gardens done in a Japanese style if not quite as ordered as a Japanese garden. Nice place to spend 30-45 minutes. Make sure you check opening hours before visiting as shuts for lunchtime and is not open on Sundays and Mondays.

City centre garden, perfect for a minute of rest and a relaxing walk. Close the beautiful and vivid streets of Bayonne. If you can, go to A la bolée for some crepês.

Great and for free. Very well maintained and beautifully made. A really nice place to be.

Un lieu d'une beauté apaisante. Les essences y sont luxuriantes entre jardin japonais et flore tropicale j'ai été transportée et ravie par ma déambulation. Ce jardin est une pure merveille, un régal pour les sens et un lieu particulièrement propice à la rêverie et la méditation.

Le jardin botanique de Bayonne est un très belle endroit où vous pourrez retrouver beaucoup de plantes que l’ont n’a pas forcément l’habitude de voir. Il est situé pas loin de la place des basques donc on peut facilement y accéder en bus, l’entrée est gratuite et il est ouvert d’avril jusqu’en octobre. L’ambiance la bas est très calme, il y a des bancs à l’ombre pour se poser tranquillement dans le calme. Les plantes sont très bien entretenus. Je posterais plus de photos lors de mes prochaines visites sur ce lieux
