Sea Life Benalmádena

It's a lovely place to visit. It can be a bit cramped inside if it's busy. The Night Sea experience is extra, but we didn't see anything to say you had to pay extra until we went to go inside, when we were asked to go back down and purchase extra tickets. There's a lovely beach just outside, and then there's the marina with assorted bars restaurants and shops, as well as a dilapidated paddle steamer.

Nice little attraction. Well laid out. Working lifts. Nice cafe and reasonably baby changing units. We went on a weekday in the middle of November, and the weather was 28 degrees, so it was nice to get some shade. It wasn't overly busy, perfect amount of people.

We had a fantastic trip to the Sealife centre. My daughter particularly enjoyed the hands-on experience. Natalia was very knowledgeable and reassuring when encouraging my 7year old to stroke sea cucumbers, star fish and anemones.
The centre was situated in an easy to find location. It had clear signage, friendly staff and a plethora of exciting animals to observe. If we are back in that region of Spain again we would certainly visit again.

This place is absolutely worth visiting (despite the fact that the exhibition is short, in my opinion). Watching sea life was amazing. I especially like the focus on resource saving and careful attitude towards sea and sea life

Absolutely fantastic!! Highly recommend it's a must see. staff are very friendly especially Carlos!! Really friendly and informative told us all the times when the sharks and otters get fed and the best places to see it.

Very nice and interesting place to spend a couple of hours. The place is good located and the staff is very attentive, specially Sandra as she was explaining the kids about the species they could touch. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a MUST see. OK you may not be into fish but walk 'Inside' their world. Place your hand on a shark (it is on the other side). Watch an octopus climb and swim inches from you. The turtle swims around you. Just wow. Yes that green thing is alive looks just like the 'grass'. My 2 year old granddaughter did not want to leave

We would just like to thank all the staff at the Sea Life centre, especially Colombo and Sandra. They were absolutely fantastic with our children; friendly, patient and informative. The children gained a lot of new knowledge which was delivered in a fun and stimulating way, engaging the children in all the exhibits and encouraging them to be thought provoking and enquiring to find out more about the various sea life creatures. The centre is set out well and the facilities were clean and child friendly. Subsequently, we loved that the centre accommodated for children with sensory needs. The shop was stocked and priced well, with which the children were able to purchase some lovely gifts to remember their day! A great morning had by all!

A very nice place to go while you are in Benalmádena! While we where looking at aquariums the guide Mariló came to us to give us some information about the animals we where watching. We even got to touch some of the sea anemones after cleaning our hands! The guide knew a lot about it, she could answer all our questions and was very helpful! The aquariums where very beautiful especially the one with the tunnel inside of it! Many sharks and a very beautiful sea turtle 😍😍 there where also otters which you can watch while they are getting fed! Very cute to see! Muchos gracias sea life Benalmádena for the great experience!

The new app showing the information of the fish and 'collect' Them on your phone like pokemon is a briliant idea. The kids are more engaged. The place is very well looked after, full of decorative details setting the mood. (Specially the Christmas theme, thenunderwater nativity).
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Great day out, best way to start the year! We'll be back! You should come and visit too!

Absolutely amazing place for children ! Place is located at the Benalmádena Marina with plenty of restaurants around and also has a restaurant located within ( it was closed when we were leaving due to being late ) its a great family day out in the seaside and surrounding area. If your close by its definitely worth the fee!

I went on a school trip with children from 3 to 7 years old.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Colombo was our guide and he was friendly and very fun! Kids loved the tour! Thank you very much for the experience!

We came here back in October 2023 - It is a very magical place, there is some special areas here where you have sharks swimming just above your head, it was an amazing experience.

Great location, nice variety of aquatic life. Not a huge aquarium, which is nice because we had other places to see. Great place for all ages. We are happy we took the time to visit the aquarium as we then explored the area it was in. Fun marina, lots of restaurants and shopping.

Excellent visit. Ignore the poor reviews, they are just people lost on their way to the beaches! The aquarium has plenty to see and kept our 4 children entertained for over an hour.

Excellent experience for adults and kids. Lots to see and lots of valuable information on the conservation efforts in the area. Always well run and staff are super. There was a wheel to spin at the end in the gift shop where kids get a free treat! Also highly rate the food and drink in the cafe with the playground right beside for kids to play during your visit.

Small but vibrant attraction. We spent about 1,5 hours. The octopus was amazing.

A wonderful place to spend a rainy day. It's not big, but there are some really fascinating sea creatures, that our son is remembering now back in Finland.
Staff were very friendly.

A spectacular visit to a beautiful aquarium, you can see a big variety of fishes, sharks and sea flora up close. And you can even touch some of them! They are working on a second floor right now and i hope to revisit when its open. They have feeding shows with otters, sharks and other animals from the aquarium. I want to specially thanks to Sandra for showing us cool facts about sea stars and sharks and both to Carmen and Laura for aswering our questions and his kindness, very great staff!
