Medplaya Hotel Bali

Great spot for family holiday. The sea view pool area had 2 pools and lots of seating/loungers with a small bar also.

The rooms were great. Modern, spacious, comfy, perfect.

The location was ideal also, a 10 min walk to the beach and surrounded by shops. Bit of a hill on the walk back up but nothing major.

The staff was the best part. Every one of them smiling, friendly, happy. Really enjoyed the stay and would definitely go again.

Great week to spend at the hotel. I was surprised for a 3-star hotel, comfy rooms, apart from the smell of smoke. We must've arrived just as smokers checked out. Over a few nights, the smell disappeared. Great food, amazing view of the beach, and good location. Be aware that the hotel itself is situated on quite a steep hill if you are looking to go to the beach regularly.

Had a wonderful week! We thought for a 3 star we got value for money and ticked all the boxes. Room was great and beds comfy. Nice hot water in bathroom and water pressure good. Cleanliness was good. Buffet food was very good at breakfast and dinner. All staff were friendly. Great location to get to all over the resort. One recommendation would be to ask for no ice in your drinks as they only use one massive ice cube and it takes up a lot of space in your glass and you don't get a full glass of your chosen drink. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone! A very good 3 star!

Hi, I travel a lot around Europe and I must admit that I am disappointed by the pricing policy of your hotel. Usually, the price of the stay is lower when booking in advance. In your case, after a week the price for the room decreased. As for the hotel itself, I'm sure it will be good because a friend recommended it to me.

The staff are really great, can’t do enough for you. there’s always something to eat at the buffet ,hot or cold ,the rooms are nice and clean,beds comfortable. It’s just like staying in a premier inn

We had a fantastic holiday. Benalmadena is beautiful. The service in the hotel was good, food delicious. The entertainment was great (and the staff brilliant) with regular activities keeping the kids happy.

We enjoyed our stay. Despite the vacations I had to give some lectures online and the personnel helped me. In general, people working at the hotel are very friendly and efficient. The hotel is ok for its category. The only drawback we found were the elevators: too small. To return.

After reading the reviews I wasn't looking forward to staying.
The only fault I found with the hotel was we didn't book for long enough. Bar staff, chambermaid etc all lovely. So clean and the kids pool was fantastic. No matter what time of the day you went you could always get sunbeds. Cardiac Hill wasn't as bad as we expected. Even pushing a 2 stone 3 year old in a buggy up it.
There was always something for us to eat at the all inclusive.
Hotel was pretty central to everything and we look forward to coming back again.

I've stayed here twice now 2019 and 2023. The food is always good, lots of choice and lovely food. The rooms are clean and the staff are lovely. The only downside is the hill the hotel is on. For anyone who is disabled or has difficulty with hills this isn't for you

This was our second stay at The Bali. We love its location. The room appeared to have been upgraded. The shower was excellent. The hotel was clean and all the staff are very polite and friendly. We loved the sun bed policy! The food was varied and always very well cooked and beautifully presented. We look forward to visiting again.

Comprises of 3 hotels with 3 swimming pools, animation team for adults and children.
Restaurant caters for everyone. From burgers and chips to Gapacho soup. We love trying new food and there was different themed nights 5 nights a week therefore changes often and is beautifully fresh. All dishes list allergens and main recipe. Each meal time catered for lactose free & gluten free options. Deserts included sugar free cakes. Jelly, ice-cream, fruits, cheeses etc. This restaurant caters for the 3 hotels and can vecome very busy showing how popular meal times are. Staff work exceptionally hard changing tables as fast as possible. To avoid long queue get to breakfast before 9am.
All inclusive includes access to snacks and drinks. throughout the day if you miss breakfast where you can make a sandwich. All staff very helpful, cooks are amazing with show cooking on lunch and dinner times. We highly recommend this hotel restaurant and no doubt will return in the future.
The hotel is located up a short steep hill but within 150 metres of main strip see video of our walk up to the hotel.

Great hotel, 3 pools which kids will love including a dedicated splash pool.
Food in restaurant is really decent.
Entertainment is what you'd expect.
Rooms are spacious, and well kept.

Nice hotel, family oriented. No bells or whistles but the rooms are clean and spacious and the AC works. Restaurant is ok with a wide selection of food. There are 4 pools and it didn't seem too busy. About a 150m walk to the beach down a very steep hill and several flights of steps ,(great for cardio)

Great Location with beautiful views from balcony and also very nice rooms with great service and very kind cleaners, with great food and lots of options with condiments.

I'm positively disappointed. We haven't paid a fortune for our 23' holiday, so my expectations were not high. However, the food was delicious, always different, with multiple choices. Even desert wise, we had at least 4-5 different options.
Kids loved the pools, and adults enjoyed the rest.
I'm not that person who likes to go back every year to the same place, but I might gonna rethink this

Locateted on a cardiac hill, but lovely, Staff are friendly & efficient, very welcoming atmosphere, would I come again. Yes.

Food. Brill, we had Yorkshire pudding and roast beef.... Besides all the other Great offerings

Excellent value all inclusive. We were the 1st stop from the airport. Day 2 of our holiday. Rooms are clean and tidy with a comfy bed.
The food there is plenty of choice for everyone, including children. A selection of quality meats and salads. The hot counter has a good selection.
A varied selection of desserts and ice cream.
All inclusive drinks from coffee to fruit juice or alcohol beverages. I have been on an all-inclusive holiday in the past where at meal times you were only allowed one drink and such a faff, queuing to give room numbers.
At Hotel Bali, it's not like that.
A snack bar is open until 23:00 available to those all-inclusive.
The staff are very helpful & polite.
The chefs cater for all, those with allergies the food description is labelled.Various choices of milk for those with intolerance.
The outdoor pool areas are great for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine.
Several outdoor showers so you can cool down.
Some reviews have said the decor is a bit dated. In some areas it may be but we haven't come to look at furniture.
Our room is modern with a balcony and an outdoor airer to dry your swimwear. The bed is very comfy and we both had a great night's sleep.
No noise just peaceful rest. Everywhere is clean and pleasant, and that's all that matters.
Entertainment at the poolside and in an evening for the children is excellent.
There is a choice of 3 pools.
The location is good for bars and restaurants and the marina.
Having holidayed in Marbella and Puerto Banus. I prefer it here, the marina is bigger with much more choice and a large ferris wheel.
I have a disability and it's located on a hill, but I get a taxi back to the hotel.
I would definitely stay here again.
