Restaurante Casa San Juan Comida Española

The food was divine. I had a grilled octopus dish with patatas revolconas & powdered olive. Quite creative and preparation of the octopus was perfect. I really appreciate the diverse menu - sometimes hard to find this in restaurants that are safe for celiacs. There were some more basic items perhaps kid friendly or for picky eaters like hamburgers, but also many choices for tapas and both traditional and unique dishes. Husband said the gluten free bread was among the best he’s ever had. Presentation of the food was beautiful and the service is very kind. Highly recommend.

Apparently, this restaurant had been open for just a few weeks. It was outstanding. The food was delicious and the ambience provided us with a wonderful experience. If we were not leaving Madrid in the morning we'd be back tomorrow.

Despite dining out at several restaurants while visiting Madrid Casa San Juan was BY FAR our favorite. Our son is gluten intolerant and everything on the menu is gluten free which made ordering and eating here so easy for us. The entire staff was amazing, very friendly and so welcoming of our two children. The food, however, was our favorite part. We ended up ordering 8 different dishes on the menu and every single one of them was delicious! We can’t wait to go back the next time we are in Madrid.

Got the Chicken and rice and it was phenomenal. Definitely going to eat there again before we leave. Was nice the waiter spoke decent English and staff was very friendly. 5*+ all the way around. Wife got the cake of the day and it was really good.

Spanish pork and beef but with Vietnam flavors..... DE...LISH... OUS!!!! Go here to break it up from the heavy bread and meat pastries around town. Worth it. Get the curries. Tons of vegetables like Vietnamese do but hearty
